Regulation of Bitcoin in Brazil

Bitcoin in Brazil became a topic in the Chamber of Deputies, and the three bills previously mentioned for regulation in Brazil are unified, becoming one, with several proposals to create rules for the asset market. Despite the unification of the projects, it is not clear when Bitcoin regulations will advance in Congress, to the point that some rule will come into effect.

Brazil must finally move forward in the regulation of cryptocurrencies, at least they are not thinking about banning Bitcoin in Brazil which becomes a positive point.

According to the project, the idea is to create an environment in which this technology serves to foster the national financial system and the needs of the economy and the population. Thus avoiding some type of crime, such as financial pyramids and other scams and fraudulent uses of cryptography.

The proposal is to insert cryptocurrencies and derivatives as a legally recognized category of assets. He also made it very clear that: Brazil needs transparency and agility to cut red tape, and blockchain technology can undoubtedly help with bureaucratic processes.

The deputy in question said he wants to participate in the digital impact, use technology to our advantage ... in fact, he also said that Brazil can invest part of its reserves in bitcoin, as other countries are already talking, that is, being the same way that if you buy the dollar, euro, in his view he should also be able to buy bitcoin, giving an important balance.

We will see how this plays out, but if there are no hidden agendas, it could be a good thing for the economy of the country.

It's true .. wait and see what will happen, but everything that has to do with the government, I don't know if it's a good thing, right?

I agree, in fact in crypto we seek that freedom from government. I mean that investing part of the reserves in BTC could be useful for the country.
