Does it make sense to buy 1 LEOM? I might add more later but say I buy 1 , do I get anything in return apart from selling it at higher price on market.

I saw that 30 will be picked per hour. Well that means I may get next hour or may not get even after a year?

depends on how many you have, you can calculate your odds of winning each hour
Hard to say if it makes sense. But if you can afford it, try and experiment. You might get some LEO if you stake it (much smaller chanches with very small amounts), otherwise you will just get the return from market price.
