Well, one more follower to your goal now :)
Nice to see people that are tracking actively the goals in a SMART way.
How much does electricity cost? For most EU citizens, crypto mining is crazy, unless electricity is free, which is not the case as it is the most expensive in the world due to the carbon tax applied to it.

Hehehe... thanks for the follow... :) I hope you will find some useful things coming from my way... :)

And you are right... Electricity is expensive in the EU, and it takes the biggest cut on monthly expenses... As I lived half of my life outside the EU, I have "diversified" my mining business and was mining in two locations... lol... But, with the newest project/idea, I'm thinking about starting here in Spain, probably struggle at the beginning, but with an idea to move to solar energy... It is still just an idea, but it is possible to do it...

Off-topic:Thanks for the engage tokens. Here some cold cerveza coming from !BEER -varia.

Solar power, off grid to avoid the connection costs, would be interesting. Do you get EU aid for installing it? In Germany, Romania, Austria and Hungary (countries where I'm active) there some good programs for that with financing where the EU takes some if not all the costs over.

In Germany rent is the killer, after taxes :)) With Corona a lot of people that work remote are moving to tax friendlier countries or to a little more sunshine. Some have moved to the unofficial 17 state of Germany, called Mallorca :)

You will not believe what I will tell you, but it is the truth... So, a decade ago, more-less, people started to use solar panels massively here in Spain... and especially in the part where I live (Valencian community) because we have over 320 solar days per year... As the big boys felt threatened, they bribed politicians and created a special TAX for everyone who wants to USE solar panels!!!

So, if you wanted to use solar panels for personal use, you had to pay some yearly tax for doing that! It's a REVERSE F*cking thing than in any normal country... lol...

Finally, I think that they lifted that tax this year... So, now it's easier to do it...

I saw that you are from Munich... Was there 2 (or 3) years ago, as my good friend lives there... I have planned to go there this year, but Corona happened... Maybe, the next one.. ;)

Cheers! And thanks for the beer!

Corrupt latin country! All latin (for the ones over the pond, latin is descend of the Roman culture) countries are over the top corrupt! Also for off grid you need to pay tax? Crazy!!!

Yes, I live in the biggest village in the world! If someone says here that they drive a Porsche you need to ask if it is a car or a tractor.
