EDSM - why I bought some?

following the call from @eddie-earner, to write a post for the #saturdaysaversclub, which can be read in this post, I will write you about #EDSM and why I bought some.
First, they fit into my strategic, generate passive income without any hustle and have a guaranteed minimum ROI of 20%, without taking in account the compound effect.
The #EDSM tokens generate #EDS tokens that have a roundabout 25% ROI in Hive. So if you chose to keep the #EDS tokens, you will get a minimum of 25% a year from the #EDSM. 20% guaranteed in #EDS tokens which generate an additional 25% on the 20%, which is 5% on total, so 20% + 5% = 25%.

It fits perfectly in my strategy, where I only need to invest once and the cashflow is generated. The double up is in 4 years and from there the fun starts, as it grows on exponential level.
Besides the good return and passiveness of the investment, the team behind has a good track record in delivering results on the blockchain. The @spinvest project is the most famous.
On this project the authors that we encounter are @silverstackeruk and @shanibeer. Here I don't know how much sleep @silverstackeruk has part of, as he is active in so many projects, most based on investments.
So, the second reason why I invested is because of the team behind.

The third, but not last, is because of the money rain logo of #EDS, from the HE:
It is far better I would say, then the one from #EDSM, which I will not post in here.

Already own it. Like you say, it's a long-term play but....I plan on being here long-term so might as well start now, right? :-) I don't have much but it all adds up.

Well, it definitely adds up on the long run. In 3-4 years it might have a total different price as a token, as it is very limited supply!

That's what I'm counting on. lol I hope to be able to accumulate a few more along the way but for now I'm at least in the game. And, I'm accumulating EDS from basically day 1 so hopefully they'll build up to a decent amount by the time things really get going for the token...

I bought 1 when it first came out. It just happened that the first lottery only had somewhere between 1-2 miners staked, so I managed to get over 30% of my investment back then. I think I have won 2 or 3 more lotteries since so I have almost 40% back already.

That is an amazing return! To be one of the first in the game is gold! I might buy some more, depending on the budget that I will have in the next months.

Yea did you read their latest post? They plan on selling EDSMM or miners with either larger chances or larger drops. So depending on how things go, you can diversify it into the different EDS miners.

I like the passive earning, too. Some other projects are exciting, but they also require quite a lot of attention. Four years is a good time span, too, long enough to build but not so far away you can't imagine it!

I picked up a couple when it first came out. I was pretty excited about the project. I am still waiting to see how it all pans out, but I have pretty high hopes that it will be a good move.

I’ve bought and staked some because I believe that in the long run it may become much harder to earn Hive. I have no desire to power down ever so want to acquire income streams.

I think it is a wise choice. Hive, with the price increase will become scarce in printing and now is the best time to accumulate.
