I have the feeling that at some point Hive is going to have its messaging app as well. I'm not too thrilled about AI everywhere though.

We are mostly there already.
Web 3.0 is heavily driven by AI. The entire IoT is basically AI. Humans are not going to be involved in the fridge purchasing food from the food outlet. That will be handled by the software.
