Never used a credit card, I hate credits. I get your idea though and see it as a sort of tokenization. Regarding tokenization I believe that in a not so distant future we will have quite many of our mundane tokenized and don't see why banks won't embrace this concept.

I also hate credits. I started using credits only after they introduced a profiting reward model. Anyways we are going to do the spending with either cash or the amount in the bank. If I do it with credit card, I get extra points or cashback for my purchase. Though it is low, something is better than nothing. If we are religious about our spending, I think credit card is good.
Yeah most of the people lack awareness. I guess they a still hesitant to get modernized or adapt to the modern way of working. There are sill banks in my locality that does lots of paper work as opposed to netbanking or making use of internet. That first needs change before they can even think about using cryptocurrencies.
