LeoFinance Engagement 🦁
Hello!
Saturday morning in Europe, and time for another look at the engagement on LeoFinance. This week, after various feedback, I've given two formats for the table - which one is preferred?
The LeoFinance Engagement Table
The table is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Any account that made a comment on leofinance.io earned a score, but only the top 100 scores are listed.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following as types of engagement:
- Posts made using leofinance.io (P)
- Comments made using leofinance.io (C)
- Number of people spoken to where the comment was made using leofinance.io (PS)
- Comments made outside of own posts using leofinance.io (CO)
- Unique Author posts commented on where the comment was made using leofinance.io (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes (SV)

And the same table, is this better?

Congratulations again @taskmaster4450 - leading from the front!
@amr008 and @jfang003 fill the podium positions again this week. I hope the time and effort you are putting in is working out well for you.
Lucky Numbers
Just myself and @traciyork sponsoring a number thus far, but I did see a number of votes on comments in the post past week. Also, onealfa.leo is likely to be casting his eyes over the data and using it to guide where his stake is distributed.
Sponsor | Winner | Number |
---|---|---|
@traciyork | @kerrislravenhill | 42 |
@abh12345 | @evernoticethat | 10 |
If you wish to sponsor a number (prize of your choice) then let me know in the comments.
The number of accounts participating, comment count, and text count on LeoFinance has grown week on week since I've started tracking the numbers, can we improve again next time?
Have a great weekend all!

I am Happy to be in the Sixth place
I have to engage more and more for next week
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is a superb placing, well done :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It surprised me to see you there, well done!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
@jmsansan.leo
Thank you
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
From 486 accounts to 506, shows either more new accounts are coming in or the older ones are engaging the more, the guys at the top aren't relenting.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I would think it's mostly new accounts with a smattering of old accounts returning to the fray :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exactly that would be logical, seeing Leo is on the uprise
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hi again. returning to the topic of delegations. So if I want to earn leo I need to delegate to leo.voter and not leofinance? and how do I end delegation? Few times I tried to login in my wallet then go to delegations and click revoke but nothing happens.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For LEO, you want to delegate Hive Power to leo.voter. I use the peakd wallet to action and cancel delegations these days.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
thank you very mutch.
Wow, surprised as I had no idea I was that close to the top 20. Thank you so much for your sponsorship @abh12345 it's been a blast hunting for those lonely posts with no comments at 2 AM, and sharing some engagement. :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nice!
Some more cool metrics would be to add points to those who are hitting lonely posts of newcomers - a very undervalued addition to the community.
(Might have a look at that separately for a post)
Oh, and congrats on landing on my lucky number!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'll second the second table, as it's easier on the eyes and a cleaner read. The first one pops, but it's like living on a planet with a red dwarf sun. :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the feedback - I think I'll end up with both for the time being!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ooomph! So close to top 10 this time around but pretty happy with that! Was in between part time and 2/3 time this week too :D
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
But which table did you use!?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
When I saw the post on peakd, the 2nd table was easier to see but when I moved to Leofinance, the colourful table was easier on the eye definitely.
Probably prefer the 2nd one for aesthetics but used both!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the feedback, I guess I'll be using both!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I prefer the top table. It's much easier to read. 😊
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ctrl+F5 not high on your priorities when you see text lists?
Well that's one vote for each so far!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Why? What's supposed to happen? I tried it and couldn't see any difference. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
:D
You should be able to search the post for your name in the text table by pressing Ctrl+F5 to open 'Find'.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah. I see. 😊
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I like the second one better, but you already know that.
Just because I can now easily find my name in the chart.
The first table does have recurring column labels. Maybe you could do that for the second one as well. That makes it a bit more readable without having to scroll.
And if you want to make it perfect you could add a column in front with 1-100.
5 tables it is then!
The jury is still out, I guess I'll end up with both 😊
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Great idea :D
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I find all tables equally offensive and will most likely need therapy after seeing two more.
But where do you put your coffee?
In a mug. Why?
But where does the mug go??
I am detectiving
It exists within my grasp and the space between there, and my mouth. I use an arcing motion to accomplish this procedure. Do they not have coffee in Scotland? How is this not "common sense" to you people.
But in between all that arcing and grasping and mouthing where does it go? Don't you put it on a table?
That's what we Scouts do but we have ever been known to be a forthright, intelligent bunch.
Perhaps I should start a business, selling tables to the Canadians? It could take off
Dude. When everything is said and done, you rinse your mug, and put it in the dishwasher!
And you think you can just waltz on in here and sell tables to Canadians, like it ain't no thang?
The last thing we need is another foreigner coming here to prey on our elderly, selling junk that isn't even beaver-proof!
I'll make the damn things from Beaver hide!!! There that will have them flour-milling cap-wearing thick-legs come running to buy em by the barrel!!!
And I'll tell everyone to hide the beavers!!! You can't outsmart me!
DAmmit!!! Outsmarted by those beaver hiding Canadians again!!
Why, I oughta...
much shaking of fists
At least you're getting a workout now; so there's that. You'll become stronger and be able to pound the beavers harder.
😭
⚽️ -- > 🏠
Except I don't have a home, but with enough tables I could perhaps build something.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I can't seem to be able to decipher your hieroglyphics, sir.
Are you upset because you've left your balls inside someone's home?
That was me taking my ball home in a huff, but back out today and all is forgiven. I am out of ideas on how to make tables look sexy though.
And it's too bad they don't apply some industry standards to these editors. Maybe it was just my browser scaling, but the bottom table on peakd looks okay. On Leo it looks wrecked.
Definitely :) thank you posting this again . It's been a busy few week , have been spending 2 hours a day over here building apps or analyzing something regarding hive or leo or other tribes and those 2 hours are definitely paying off.
The key is to time your participation I guess. Go work in real life , enjoy and whenever you have time , engage over here.
EDIT: I like the 1st table ( image ) better than the second one . Easier to find the name and see all details.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I kind of like the second because I can do a "search" for my name and it was there! But either is fine, and certainly the image looks better.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true too . I didn't think about that .
Well it's always to good to have hybrid representation of data to be honest .
Both together is better . I actually was viewing that on mobile and thought 1st is better but both are equally good.

My pleasure. I think your recent efforts and rewards are proof that if you jump in with engagement, it's hard to ignore :)

Function > Form

Thanks for the feedback. I agree function usually outperforms form :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I like the colored chart better

Thanks for the feedback - quite a mixed feeling on this so perhaps both will stay for now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Tough choice on the tables, first one is easier to read as it is more compact and on the second one, the data can be copied. I would opt in for the second, to be able to copy the users and check their content.
On a personal note, @taskmaster4450le you are a beast!!! But there are two strong contenders coming behind, @amr008 and @jfang003! Keep the good work up!
Thanks again for the report!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No I am actually just a regular guy. Thanks for the compliment though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If all regular guys would be like this, humanity would have been settled on Mars already.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the feedback - both now looks to be the likely outcome!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I made the list, I made the list! Woo hoo!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nicely done, me too!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'd probably go with the first list if I had to choose. Both are very good but for a list of 100 names, the second seems a little too long. Just personal preference really. I really couldn't care less though. The fact that you put in the time to do this is really great so whichever is easier/faster for you is perfectly fine by me. Thanks again for putting this together.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the feedback.
I guess they take a similar amount of time, and I'll probably stick to both for now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
maybe I can make it to top ten this coming week, we'll see :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As always, thanks for sharing these stats 👊 I'm still coming for a top 20 spot, you'll see :p
Wow @taskmaster4450 with nearly 700 comments, that is incredible..
p.s. I think I like table 1, easier to look at. but I totally get that it's easier to search text within the second.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It just took a bit of typing.
It is one of the few talents I have.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My pleasure, thanks for the feedback.
TM is showing us all how it's done for sure!

I prefer the last week table when I was in top 10. Wait that’s not the question ? :D
I like the less colourful table I’d say but the most important is what’s in, thanks you again for putting it together.
I’ll do better next week !
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
:)
Thanks for the feedback, I hope to see you in both tables next time.

Good job everyone. The numbers are looking good. I guess I will just try to maintain 3rd place. @amr008 and @taskmaster4450le are too much of a beast.
I should spread out my votes a little more though but I tend to have the most comments in the leomarkettalk thread and don't browse the community feed as often.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Top 3 is a fine effort, well done.
I think with a smaller stake, it makes more of a statement if you give out fewer, larger votes. I trail the leo.voter account and top up with manual votes, it seems to be going OK.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think I prefer to give smaller votes out. My stake isn't high enough and I am hoping to give out HE tokens as returns. It's also one of the main reasons why I continue to stake at least a portion of my HE earnings. My multipliers on HE tokens are at least 2x and some of them are even higher. I also like the linear voting rewards from LEO and SPORTS as every little bit adds up over time.

So cool to see all of these great people on the boards. I am glad to be a part of it, too! Yay! :) I have been using the LeoFinance front end more & more lately. It has been my favorite place to go....
Congrats to everyone for making the "cut"! Let's keep climbing the charts! :)🧡✨
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Good stuff :)
LeoFinance is an exciting place to be at present!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Amazing! I love the growth....
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, week on week, great to see :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Loving these reports, highly motivating to continue to improve my engagement numbers!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's what I like to hear, thank you!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nice to you you doing this @abh12345!
From a readability perspective, I prefer the "original" (or top) format, even though the 2nd one might be aesthetically more pleasing. So that's a vote for the top version.
For a moment, I found myself pondering the amazing thing that 506 accounts were active, while only 353 were on the main League... but I seem to remember that "over there" you have to ASK to be included in the League calculations... so I guess I answered my own question!
=^..^=
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You did answer your own question :) At present a full pull of the LeoFinance data works, I'm not sure if that would be the case if there were 10000+ accounts posting with the interface each week!
Thanks for the feedback, it's looking like both charts for now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am number 36 on this list! Wow! I really need to get with the program! @taskmaster4450le is without a doubt the King of Engagement. Every comment I have ever received from him was very informative and topical!
Thank you for taking the time to put together these posts. It is very useful to know who is engaged through sharing their financial and crypto knowledge as well as helping others through encouragement!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My pleasure sgt, thank you for the positive feedback :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are welcome!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nice to make it on to the list... although I could definitely do better. There's always next week ;-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There is always next week. Top 10 looks miles away for me at present!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day ;-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
hello, I try to upload an image but it is not reflected or does not load which may be. if someone can help me please
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What is your device?
It could be that you are short on Resource Credits. You have 25 Hive Power and this is likely the bare minimum required to transact.
https://hivetasks.com/@clicmaster
See if you can upload the image when this is 100%, hopefully you'll earn a little HIVE and grow your account a bit more so this is no longer an issue.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the observation friend, I will be attentive to that, and I hope to solve that problem soon!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm sentimentally attached to the first chart (and it is easier to read), but being able to search the second is also cool, so... essentially I have nothing helpful to say! 🤣
And congratulations to everyone who placed! I've just sent the prize for #42 to @kerrislravenhill's wallet...
See some of you tomorrow for HEL, and some of you next week! Happy engaging! 😊
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All feedback is welcome :) I think I'll be presenting both tables for now.
Thank you very much for sponsoring a number Traci!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I prefer the first one, far more easy to read for me; the second one feels more desorganized. I've tried to open the post on ecency app, the second table there is unreadable; don't know if it's just my phone. As usual, thank you for all the great info! Will strive to see myu name on that list!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you for the feedback. I was worried the text table would not format correctly on some devices/browsers. For mobile, the image does seems to fit better.

Thanks for putting this all together, and about the tables. I prefer the first colored one better. But as always that is a personal thing.
I see that I have a long way to go before I can compete for the first prices. Man, I don't even have enough time to do that. But, it's a challenge to get a bit higher!
Congrats for all the top engagers! Great job!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My pleasure, thank you for the positive feedback :)
Time certainly is a factor - I think I've got 10 more comments to reply to here and then I'll be onto the other Engagement League post!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad to see my name up there at 546 points. Thanks for this.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My pleasure, thank you for the support :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's beautiful to bounce back at the 9th spot. Heading back to the top 5 spot in the coming week.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Top 10 is great work!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I like the first list. Seems easier to read... (Don't ask about ctrl + F5)
:D
I shall try not to ask, it's tempting though!
Thanks for the feedback Denise :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What a gentleman! :))
Nice table, I wonder who can beat up the guy at the top 😂 absolutely no one.
The day I see another name at that top then I will know something probably went wrong hahaha.
I can't even figure out which number I am but it's okay hehehe.
I think I like the second table, it's more visible and easy to read the data
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It would be some achievement for sure, maybe you? :D
Thanks for the feedback!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hahahha. Not so sure not even in my wildest dream lol
Damn I dropped a fair bit. Going to need to pick it up again and move up a few notches.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There is always next week, let's see :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Now that my stake of LEO is nearly 500, I'm considering more and more to up my engagement in LeoFinance. It's kind of hard for me to relate to so much investing and financial advice, especially as someone who has failed financially in life, but succeeded in so many other areas.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I understand this, but hopefully we are in the right place to make a change here - fingers-crossed!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
indeed...fingers crossed
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The real table is better, thank you :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the feedback :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh, I forgot to name the reason. Searchability and mentioning. If you would be using mentions, of course :)
Thanks for these stats Asher! I haven't ranked so well... ever, I think. :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My pleasure, and there is always next week :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
:D :D
@taskmaster4450, you are 10% plus your main of all comments by the top 100 on LEO?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that's called working for your investment :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is a decent effort for sure
