Hello!

After last weeks huge response in favour of a weekly engagement table for LeoFinance, we are back with a list of the 100 top engagers on leofinance.io.

The LeoFinance Engagement Table

The table is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.

Any account that made a comment on leofinance.io earned a score, but only the top 100 scores are listed.

The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following as types of engagement:

  • Posts made using leofinance.io (P)
  • Comments made using leofinance.io (C)
  • Number of people spoken to where the comment was made using leofinance.io (PS)
  • Comments made outside of own posts using leofinance.io (CO)
  • Unique Author posts commented on where the comment was made using leofinance.io (UA)
  • Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
  • Comments - length in characters (CL)
  • Up-votes to others (V)
  • Up-votes to different authors (UV)
  • Self-votes (SV)

  • 482 accounts made at least one comment using leofinance.io in the past 7 days (462 last time)
  • The top 100 produced 430 top level posts via leofinance.io (446 last time)
  • The top 100 produced 5819 comments via leofinance.io (5404 last time)
  • The top 100 produced over 1.72 million characters of text in comments produced using leofinance.io (1.54m last time)
  • The top 100 cast 9920 votes on content posted via leofinance.io (9242 last time
  • 190 were self-votes (203 last time)
  • 338 of the 482 accounts that earned a score this week chose not to vote their own account (311 last time)

Ah my upvotes will suck at this because I use other account lol . Still happy to be in the top 10 , I think my engagement kind of decreased this week . Thanks a lot for this @abh12345 , glad you expanded this contest to LeoFinance too :)

You put this together the first week of ProjectBlank and you will have some huge numbers in my opinion.

Maybe not in character lengths but everything else.

I like what you do.
It was much useful data for me, while trying to update here my personal "follow" and "ignore" lists.
(yes, my autovoter bot kicks in time to time, once my voting power comes above 99%)
As my support to this "Leofinance Engagement" project, I like to establish my weekly prize to one random holder of Top10 best scores in the "UV" column.

I have a bunch of tokens and a few miners. The one time I followed your lead and used the Leo. Finance tag on my Sunday Ecency Points for the EL post I got downvoted by them and I've ignored them ever since!
I've never used their front end. Is that where I would go to curate? It doesn't count if I vote on a Leo post from Ecency? I really have no clue about Leo.

Very nice. I need to diversify myself a bit and I am glad to be number 4. I mainly stayed within the LeoMarketTalk thread this week. There's plenty of discussion to be found there. I probably need to diversify and add some more people to follow as I don't scan the community tab as much. I tend to follow my own feed.

Yes I agree. From @amr008's last post, I can see that LEO itself didn't see much change from the engagement project. The amount of interaction on LEO itself is fairly huge.

As for the 10x number of accounts, it depends on whether the new microblogging and LeoFi can retain all these new users. I think introducing them to the block chain will get many communities some fresh blood and hopefully more comments/posts.

I think it's tough to put in a top score each week and breaks are required to not burn out.

Thanks for doing this report. I think it really adds to the weekly stats being compiled on Leofinance. The fact that Leo is probably the top contributor (or one of them) to the comments made on a daily basis., I find this report to be applicable to the overall engagement on Hive. It makes up a large portion and will do so, at least until the release of Projectblank.

Always good to see such a breakdown.

Thanks for the support. LF is by far the most engaging tribe at present and has grown further since even last week.

As a % of the whole Hive ecosystem, I would need to have a look but would say 10% of Hive's engagement is coming via LF at present. Don't quote me though, no recent data to back this up!

In theory it should since it just won't be about finance/crypto and engagement would be more important than the actual short post (tweet) itself. That's what I'm hoping for anyways.

Very true, these reports are making many to improve their engagement on the platform. IMO, engagement on Leo is ultimately increasing the engagement on HIVE as well.

It is definitely cool to see what some of the most "successful" people on this platform are doing to be successful. It gives hope that by emulating them and engaging the community, you too can achieve the results you're looking for. Why re-invent the wheel, right? It was a lesson I learned early in life: look at the people who are getting the results you want, figure out what they're doing, and try to do the same thing. It makes it easier if you actually enjoy doing it. :-) Thanks for the update!
