Turmeric:

It's a plant whose scientific name is Turmeric Longa. The rhizome is its edible part, it is very branched and orange in color. Widely used in the culinary arts.

La cúrcuma:

Es una planta cuyo nombre científico es la Cúrcuma Longa. El rizoma es su parte comestible, es muy ramificado y de color anaranjado. Muy utilizado en el arte culinario.

Tiene un color y sabor característico. Es uno de los componente del curry muy conocido. Es un colorante fuerte tanto para teñir telas, como para uso en la cocina. En el arroz, las carnes, pescados y mariscos.

Sus propiedades benéficas en la salud lo hacen en la actualidad un rizoma solicitado ampliamente en el mercado. Se ha comprobado su efecto benéfico en el cáncer, artritis, diábetes y otras enfermedades.

What is it about?
