The eggplant:
La berenjena:
It's the fruit of the tree that has the same name. It is considered a fruit and a vegetable. Its scientific name is Solanun Melongena.
Its color is deep purple. When ripe, the fruit is bright and firm to the touch. It has stripes on the surface of its skin that can be white, green, orange and others.
It is widely used in culinary arts for its many uses. It can be prepared fried, smoked, breaded, baked, stewed, etc ...
It is usually an accompaniment to meals, but it can also appear as a main dish in overflowing aubergines, or in the pasture of aubergines.
Smoked aubergine is the one I like to prepare the most. It is placed on the grill, correcting the position on each side, until all the skin is burned on the grill. Then you proceed to remove all the pulp with a spoon and add the spices, like garlic, previously fried with a little butter, add lemon, oil and salt. They are mixed homogeneously and you have a cream spread with a piece of bread.

Es el fruto del árbol que tiene su mismo nombre. Es considerada una fruta y una verdura. Su nombre científico es Solanun Melongena.
Su color es el morado intenso, Cuando está madura la fruta es brillante y al tacto es firme. Presenta franjas en la superficie de su piel, que pueden ser blancas, verdes, anaranjadas y otros.
Es muy utilizada en el arte culinario por sus múltiples usos. Se puede preparar frita, ahumada, empanizada, horneada, guisada, etc...
Suele ser acompañante en las comidas, pero también puede aparecer como plato principal en unas berenjenas rebosadas, o en el pasticho de berenjenas.
La berenjena ahumada, es la que más me agrada preparar. Se coloca en el asador, corrigiendo la posición de cada lado, hasta conseguir que toda la piel se queme en el asador. Luego se procede a retirar toda la pulpa con una cuchara y agregar las especies como ajo, previamente sofrito con un poco de mantequilla, se agrega limón, aceite y sal. Se mezclan en forma homogénea y se tiene una crema para untar con un pedazo de pan.

What is it about?
It's a weekly contest, starts on Friday and ends on Thursday afternoon. To start again on Friday.
It ends at 6pm Caracas-Venezuela time (GMT-4).
I will give the theme, and you have 6 days to develop your post, on the seventh day, I will not accept any more entries and the winners will be published along with the new theme of the week
This contest deals with themes related to nature. For example, asking what do you do with the eggplant? You can develop a theme about how you use it, how you prepare it, do you like it? You do not like eggplant? How about drawing it ?, and etc ... your creativity is the limit.

Es un concurso semanal, comienza el viernes y termina el jueves por la tarde. Para comenzar de nuevo el viernes.
Termina a las 6pm hora Caracas-Venezuela (GMT-4).
Daré el tema, y tienes 6 días para desarrollar tu publicación, el séptimo día, no aceptaré más entradas y los ganadores se publicarán junto con el nuevo tema de la semana.
Este concurso trata temas relacionados con la naturaleza. Por ejemplo, preguntando qué haces con la berenjena. Puede desarrollar un tema sobre cómo lo preparas, ¿le gusta? ¿No te gusta la berenjena? ¿Qué tal si lo dibujas ?, y etc ... tu creatividad es el límite.

I also wish you good planting. I planted my aubergines and gave away many. I was wrong about the amount of seeds. I thought they were damaged and I planted them all, more than 100 plants were born. now I give many and others for sale.
I once planted them plus zucchini. Both grew like madness. Both I do not like. I once thought my tomato plants drowned and died. We bought new ones. Next they all came out again. It was the only year I had more tomatoes as we could eat and we ate them daily, soup plus juice plus salad. I put them in glasses, made a lot of sauce. It was enough for 4-5 years. Now I have nothing.
How sad you say that. That you no longer have anything. But can you sow everything again? or is it difficult to sow? I went two days without publishing, almost three days, because I was fixing a meter of earth by three meters long. I sow my aubergine seedlings. For the first time I fixed there. I put some protection meshes on the floor. I hope cats don't harm my plants. I'm going to wait a little bit and plant other fast-growing plants under the eggplants.
I have seeds, can sow but planting is hard. We have 4 seasons here. We need to plant in March to be in time to harvest. It's May by now. We have a very strong wind lately and hardly water. I don't think it's an option. I think if it's better to buy the bigger plants.
Oh, okay. Do you have the option to buy the seedlings at a good price? It is also good to plant the plants. Yesterday they gave me some spinach seedlings. My seeds of this plant were not born to me, I gave some plants of aubergines to the Lord and he kindly brought me others.
