Today I'm going to talk to you about humor and fun on Television as part of The Second Contest of the Movies and TV Shows Community on #Hive highlighting the #Comedy genre.

Recently I was talking with a friend who I respect a lot for her opinions on issues of film, television and entertainment industry in general, and she said that comedy on television had undergone a mutation since the second half of the 80's to our times, there is no longer a wide range of options and proposals to choose from as in those days when our programming had 3 and 4 comedy series daily in family time, now, with the emergence of streaming platforms the trend is led by series with a hybrid of genres that link their stories of drama, suspense, comedy and more.

I had a lot of conviction with my friend's analysis, since, as I sat down to write this publication and search in my memory for everything that made me laugh out loud and that really caught me to the point of coming back the next day, sitting in front of the TV and anxiously waiting for a new chapter, I noticed that after the year 2000 only 2 stories generated enough reasons for me to highlight them. I could be wrong and some expert will come out and say that the comedy genre on television is more present than ever, but few of the new proposals have managed to penetrate the mass (or the mass of my stimuli). The material that has recently interested me on TV, I feel that, although it carries its touch of humor and fun, I find it difficult to classify it as comedy.

There is something I love in old school comedy and I think that, for the most part, my selection fulfills this element which is the feeling of being in a theater room with the effects of the audience laughing at every funny moment, plus simulating an outdoor setting, the beach, the street, driving the car and simulating the city tour, are characteristic things that I like a lot.

Hoy les hablaré de humor y diversión en Televisión en el marco del segundo concurso de la comunidad de Películas y Programas de Televisión en #Hive destacando el género #Comedia.

Hace poco conversaba con una amiga que respeto mucho por sus opiniones en temas de cine, televisión e industria del entretenimiento en general, y ella decía que la comedia en televisión había sufrido una mutación desde la segunda mitad de los años 80 hasta nuestros tiempos, ya no hay una gran abanico de opciones y propuestas para elegir como en aquellos tiempos que nuestra programación tenía 3 y 4 series de comedia diaria en horario familiar, ahora, con el surgir de plataformas streaming la tendencia la llevan series con un híbrido de géneros que enlazan sus historias de drama, suspenso, comedia y más.

Tuve mucha convicción con el análisis de mi amiga, ya que, al sentarme a escribir esta publicación y buscar en mi memoria todo aquello que me hizo reír a carcajadas y que realmente me atrapó al punto de volver al día siguiente, sentarme frente al televisor y esperar ansiosamente un nuevo capítulo, noté que después del año 2000 sólo 2 historias me generaban los motivos suficientes para destacarles. Podría estar en un error y saldrá algún experto a decir que el genero comedia en televisión está más presente que nunca, pero de las nuevas propuestas pocas han logrados calar en la masa (o en la masa de mis estímulos). El material que recientemente me ha interesado en TV, siento que, aunque lleva su toque de humor y diversión me resulta difícil catalogarlo como comedia.

Hay algo que yo amo en la comedia de la vieja escuela y creo que, en su mayoría, mi selección cumple con este elemento que es la sensación de estar en una sala de teatro con los efectos de risa del público en cada momento divertido, además de simular un escenario en exteriores, la playa, la calle, manejar el auto y simular el recorrido por la ciudad, son cosas características que me gustan mucho.

5-) Sabrina The Teenage Witch (1996 - 2003): A masterful idea, a young girl who discovers her powers for white magic by the hand of her witch aunts who have almost 200 years of life each. Each character has your touch of madness, Sabrina does millions of spells and entanglements living adolescence, her boyfriend, who many times is under a spell, does not know that Sabrina is a witch and can never know it, Sabrina has a cat named Salen who talks, and advises her many times how to get out of a problem, resulting not always the best solution, Salen's voice and dialogues is the funniest thing. Netflix made a contemporary version of Sabrina, but I think it's not comedy, I only saw the first chapter.

Cada personaje tiene tu toque de locura, Sabrina hace millones de hechizos y enredos viviendo la adolescencia, su novio, que muchas veces está bajo un hechizo, no sabe que Sabrina es bruja y no lo puede saber nunca, Sabrina tiene un gato llamado Salen que habla, y le aconseja muchas veces como salir de un problema, resultando no ser siempre la mejor solución, La voz y los diálogos de Salen es lo más divertido. Netflix hizo una versión contemporánea de Sabrina, pero creo que no es comedia, sólo vi el primer capítulo.

4-) Saved by the Bell (1989 - 1993): I think the entire 90's generation remembers the teenage romance of Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski. Craziness, shenanigans and tangles with hilarious outcomes at Bayside High School, each episode a new problem that Zack was getting into and not learning his lesson from. I loved this TV series, I was a TV addicted kid and at the time of transmission, which I remember was at 06:30 in the evening, no one could bother me.

4-) Salvado por la Campana (1989 – 1993): Creo que toda la generación de los 90 recuerda el romance adolescente de Zack Morris y Kelly Kapowski. Locuras, travesuras y enredos con desenlaces muy divertidos en la preparatoria Bayside, cada episodio un nuevo problema en el que Zack estaba metido y del cual no aprendía la lección. 3-) La Teoría del Big Bang (2007 – 2019): Llegué Tarde a esta serie, en 2014 si no me equivoco, beneficioso para mi, fue que, como las temporadas eran tan exitosas, ya había alcanzado la distinción de ser una serie de culto, por lo que Warner Channel Latino América transmitía maratones los domingos una temporada tras de otra. ¿Cómo la historia de un físico teórico podía ser tan divertida?, Sheldon Cooper tiene personalidad propia que vive dentro del actor Jim Parsons, he amado toda mi vida el hecho de reaccionar a un sarcasmo como algo real, es una maravilla, he tomado características de la personalidad de Sheldon y las he aplicado en lo social, es que de verdad, este personaje es de las mejores creaciones del mundo de la comedia, me ha sacado carcajadas de esas que te producen lágrimas.

El Chavo aún se sigue transmitiendo todas las tardes en los canales de televisión abierta en Venezuela, una serie de 1973 y aún niños quieren sus fiestas infantiles con temáticas de esta serie, su lenguaje cómico es atemporal, enredos, locuras y travesuras en una vecindad, dónde cada vecino tiene su protagonismo. Cuando era niño no fui capaz de diferenciar que el chavo era un hombre maduro haciendo el papel de un niño de 8 años, para mi era un niño, y con el tiempo, en la edad adulta fue que comprendí lo mágico y magnético de esta serie, además es un humor sano y familiar.

Juan Cuesta leads the order of the meetings and gives speeches as the president of a country, he has his opposition movement and many times the neighbors give him a coup d'état, the actor José Luis Gil, plays this role wonderfully and they are very funny situations, it is a series so famous in Spain that the official channel makes marathons on weekends.

1-) Aquí no hay quien viva (2003 – 2006): Juan Cuesta, el presidente de la comunidad de vecinos de Desengaño 21, es el motivo por el cual Aquí no hay quien viva es mi serie favorita de comedia, o mejor dicho, mi serie favorita de todas las series que he visto en mi vida, todos los personajes son protagonistas y son interpretaciones magistrales, es una serie de 5 temporadas y 90 capítulos, podemos ver en ella cotidianidades típica de un edificio llevadas al extremo de la locura, cada episodio cuenta una historia distinta con un desenlace y un final, es decir puedes ver la serie de forma desordenada. Juan Cuesta lleva el orden de las juntas y da los discursos como el presidente de un país, tiene su movimiento de oposición y muchas veces los vecinos le dan un golpe de estado, el Actor José Luis Gil, interpreta maravillosamente este papel y son situaciones muy divertidas, es una serie tan famosa en España que el canal oficial hace maratones en fin de semana.
