Best wishes to my Hive friends! I've always thought that the initiatives created by the extraordinary Hive users are great and very entertaining. This time I join @littlegremlin's idea, who invites us to share 3 favorite classic movies or movies that have impacted us in some way. These film productions must have been released before the 2000s. I thank my friend @beatriche for the invite, and I invite my friends @maitt87, @railis93 and anyone who wants to participate. Here is the link to the initiative.

En esta oportunidad me uno a la idea de @littlegremlin, que nos invita a compartir 3 películas clásicas preferidas o que nos han impactado de alguna manera. Estas producciones cinematográficas deben haber salido a luz antes de la década del 2000. TITANIC (1997)
This movie, considered among the highest blockbuster in the film industry, makes me very nostalgic. I remember I was a teenager when I saw it for the first time in a movie theater in my city. I will not expand on its plot as many know it quite well.
An exploration team makes an expedition to the wreck of the Titanic that sank in 1912 to recover a necklace known as "the Heart of the Sea", but instead they discover a charcoal drawing of a naked young woman wearing a necklace. The team contacts a 101-year-old survivor named Rose Dawson Calvert. Rose, one of the passengers from a wealthy family, tells how she met and fell in love with Jack Dawson, an artist who wanders through life. They live a romance, but Rose's family would not allow it and would do everything possible to separate them.
When the Titanic sinks and the two of them are left floating in the freezing Atlantic Ocean, they swim to a piece of wood where only one of them can fit, so Jack asks her to get on. Jack dies of hypothermia, but Rose manages to be rescued, but not before saying an emotional goodbye to her love. I recommend those who have not yet seen this classic to take the time to watch it.
Esta película, considerada entre las más taquilleras de la industria cinematográfica, me causa mucha nostalgia. Recuerdo que era una adolescente cuando la vi por primera vez en una sala de cine de mi ciudad. No me extenderé en su trama pues muchos la conocen bastante bien.
Un equipo de exploración hace una expedición hasta los restos del Titanic hundido en 1912 para recuperar un collar conocido como «el Corazón del Mar», pero en su lugar descubren un dibujo al carboncillo de una joven desnuda que lleva un collar. El equipo se contacta con una sobreviviente llamada Rose Dawson Calvert, de 101 años. Rose, una de las pasajeras proveniente de una familia rica, cuenta cómo conoció y se enamoró de Jack Dawson, un artista que deambula por la vida. Ellos viven un romance, pero la familia de Rose no lo permitiría y harían todo lo posible por separarlos.
Cuando el Titanic se hunde y ellos dos quedan flotando en el helado océano Atlántico, nadan hasta un trozo de madera donde solo cabía uno de los 2, por lo cual Jack le pide a ella que se suba. Jack fallece por hipotermia, pero Rose logra ser rescatada, no sin antes despedirse emotivamente de su amor. Recomiendo a quienes aún no han visto este clásico a que se animen a verlo.
DENNIS THE MENACE / DANIEL EL TRAVIESO (1993)
I was just a kid when this funny movie was released, but I could watch it a thousand times and still laugh at the pranks and adventures of this boy.
A neighborhood is overwhelmed because of Dennis, a hyperactive and very naughty boy, who has the elderly Mr. Wilson as his main victim. Dennis 's parents must travel for work and leave Dennis at Mr. Wilson's house, even though he dislikes the idea. Mr. Wilson wins a gardening contest, and the night he was going to see his rare and precious orchid bloom, a thief enters his house to steal and Dennis warns him at the wrong time, so Mr. Wilson could not see his orchid bloom; he scolds Dennis strongly, and that makes Dennis flee heartbroken.
Dennis is taken hostage by a villain, but manages to escape the situation by doing what he does best, antics, sometimes intentional and sometimes by accident. The next day Dennis returns to the city with the villain captured and Mr. Wilson decides to be more sympathetic to him, until he accidentally throws a burning marshmallow in his face and with this scene the movie ends, letting us know that Dennis will always be naughty as it is in his nature.
Solo era una niña cuando lanzaron esta divertida película, pero podría verla una y mil veces más y aun reírme de las travesuras y aventuras de este chico.
Un vecindario está azotado a causa de Daniel, un niño hiperactivo y muy travieso, que tiene al anciano señor Wilson como su principal víctima. Los padres de Daniel deben viajar por trabajo y dejan a Daniel en casa del señor Wilson, aunque a él le desagrade la idea. El señor Wilson gana un concurso de jardinería, y la noche en la que iba a ver florecer su rara y preciada orquídea, un ladrón entra a su casa a robar y Daniel le avisa en mal momento, por lo que el señor Wilson no pudo ver a su Orquídea florecer; éste regaña fuertemente a Daniel, y eso hace que Daniel huya dolido.
Daniel es tomado rehén por un villano, pero logar zafarse de la situación haciendo lo que mejor sabe, fechorías, algunas veces intencionales y otras veces por accidente. Al día siguiente Daniel vuelve a la ciudad con el villano capturado y el señor Wilson decide ser más comprensivo con él, hasta que por accidente le lanza un malvavisco ardiendo en la cara y con esta escena finaliza la película, dejándonos saber que Daniel siempre será un travieso pues eso está en su naturaleza.

THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT / EL PROYECTO DE LA BRUJA DE BLAIR (1999)
This time the theme is darker, because I wanted to share the variety of genres that I like to see in movies. I remember when this movie came out in 1999, I was shocked, it was very realistic and rumored to be a real life documentary, but the truth is that it was a fiction very well achieved by a production team that knew exactly what they wanted to achieve in the viewers.
One autumn in 1994, Heather, Joshua and Michael went into a mysterious forest in Maryland, USA, to film a documentary about a local legend, "The Blair Witch". But no one ever heard from them again. A year later, the camera with which the boys were filming was found, and it showed the terrifying events that caused their disappearance. In the recordings, you could see the panic on their faces as they experienced the curse that haunted them.
Film critics say that this film revolutionized the horror genre forever. The combination of 3 friends in a mysterious forest, a video camera and a terrifying curse gave the perfect result to make The Blair Witch Project a fascinating and chilling story at the same time.
En esta ocasión la temática es más oscura, ya que quise compartir la variedad de géneros que me gusta ver en las películas. Recuerdo que cuando esta película salió en 1999, yo quedé impactada, era muy realista y se rumoraba que era un documental de la vida real, pero la verdad es que era una ficción muy bien lograda por un equipo de producción que sabía perfectamente lo que quería lograr en los espectadores.
Un otoño de 1994, Heather, Joshua y Michael se adentraron en un misterioso bosque de Maryland, Estados Unidos, para filmar un documental sobre una leyenda local, “La bruja de Blair”. Pero nadie volvió a saber de ellos. Un año después, fue encontrada la cámara con la que los chicos estaban filmando, y en ella se podía apreciar los terroríficos hechos que causaron su desaparición. En las grabaciones, se podía ver el pánico en sus rostros mientras experimentaban aquella maldición que los acechaba.
La crítica cinematográfica indica que esta película revolucionó el género de terror para siempre. La combinación de 3 amigos en un bosque misterioso, una cámara de vídeo y una aterradora maldición dieron el resultado perfecto para que El proyecto de la Bruja de Blair fuera una historia fascinante y escalofriante a la vez.

DANIEL EL TRAVIESO, pasan los años y sus travesuras aún son épicas, de lo mejor dwl cine y han querido copiar esa fórmula y nada sale como antes.
