"The Call" Review - Korean Gem

Today we have one of the wonderful films that represents for us the movement between the past and the present. One day film The Korean films that became famous were what the audience loved.

In fact, on Korean films, we represent a qualitative shift in crime, drama and action films, where you can convey all of this to us in one movie with high quality, but we will have reservations about this wonderful film, which has met with great approval.

In fact, this may be the first time that I review a Korean movie, but I was attracted by a film because of the many suggestions that were made so that I could watch this movie.

The story

a movie that tells us about a young girl who is not older than her twenties, this girl is living a real tragedy. Hear me her father is dead and her mother is in the hospital. This girl lives with herself and takes care of his needs by herself, but something strange happened.

Something happened that might disturb this girl’s life, but it would be the opposite, as it would move her from the face of the loneliness in which she lives.

One day, the girl was surprised by a phone call to the house as a result of a strange voice speaking to her and a strange voice speaking, then she finds that this call is constantly wanting to discover the girl Omar the broadcaster that this girl has been living in this house twenty years ago and that she is now in another world.

A new story starts from there in the movie and this girl starts talking with her friend from the other world, and our support revealed in this film how this girl went to this time soon, and the relationship between these two girls will increase.

Impression

The film tells us a completely strange story, the safe transmission, the change of cultures, and the new acquaintance between the girl and her friend, but in a different way this time from the films that we are used to, and this time a phone call brought them together.

The movie is one of the wonderful Korean films that you will enjoy a lot and you will enjoy the excitement, cancellation and horror at the same time, as you will think at first glance that the movie is horror, but the film is not so, then you will move to the crime and drama and all this wonderful combination in one movie.

But to be fair, the movie did not rise to the strongest Korean movies. It is true that we have crime, drama and horror, but all of this did not rise to the strong Korean movies that we are used to full of feelings and excitement.

But in any case, the film presented us with a new story and provided us with a lot of mystery required, which will attract you to the film greatly.

The idea of ​​the film that events happen in two different times gave a wonderful character to the film and a lot of excitement, but there are some problems and defects in the film that we will talk about ...

Defects

Despite the advantages we mentioned in the film in terms of story, variety, etc., the film gave us a poor dramatic performance compared to the Korean films that we are used to, as well as the matter with regard to crime and horror.

Not focusing the film on one side made it come out in that way that makes you leave the film, but without specifying the type of movie.

The acting performance in the film was not as strong as we envisioned, as well as the events in the film and until its end did not reveal to us most of them in terms of how the girl moved to that time. Rather, the director left us a lot of mystery that should have been revealed.
