#Movies - Cine Nórdico - "Despegando A La Vida" / "Sparrows" by Rúnar Rúnnarsson (2015)

>_ Antes que nada me gustaría presentarme ante la comunidad de "Movies & TV Shows" y así de una un otra forma explicarles que tipo de contenido voy a compartir con ustedes.
Mi nombre es @neuerko y ya tengo participando en esta blockchain desde hace 4 años. Me gusta mucho leer, la tecnología, correr y la fotografía. Mi blog está enfocado más que nada a la fotografía, pero con la idea de seguir creciendo dentro de esta comunidad, me gustaría compartir con ustedes uno más de mis gustos, que es el cine.
No soy un experto, ni mucho menos, pero si me gusta mucho el cine que, además de entretener, provoca una crítica social, que nos obliga a reflexionar y cuestionar nuestros propios prejuicios y los de nuestras sociedades; me gusta mucho ese cine al que le llaman "independiente".
Así que aquí está mí primer recomendación, espero que les guste.

Película escrita y dirigida por Rúnar Rúnnarsson, se trata de un drama juvenil donde nuestro protagonista Ari, un joven de 16 años, trata de mantener su inocencia y la de sus seres queridos en lo que parece una sociedad dura, desesperanzadora donde la sensibilidad parece no tener cabida.
La historia se mueve al rededor de Ari, un chico de la ciudad, que vive con su madre y su padrastro hasta que no pueden seguir cuidándolo. Es en ese momento que Ari regresa a una villa de pescadores en los fiordos islandeses junto a su padre, un hombre alcohólico y desempleado, y su abuela, la única que parece saber como tratar al chico.
Ari y su padre tratan de restablecer su relación, pero el tiempo perdido y las personalidades tan opuestas parecen insalbables. Es ahí donde Ari trata de encontrar refugio con los de su edad, pero vuelve a encontrarse con una sociedad agresiva y brutal.
La fotografía de la película nos muestra unos paisajes increíbles, casi salvajes. Con planos y tomás largos que hacen que los dos primeros tercios del filme transcurran de manera muy lenta, quizá por momentos demaciado. La falta de noches durante el solsticio de verano parece ahogar y oprimir a los habitantes de esta parte del mundo, que buscan un escape en las continuas borracheras y fiestas con los amigos.
Los personajes están excelentemente construidos y durante el último tercio de la película todo termina por cerrar de manera sobérvia, dejando al espectador con un dolor en el pecho y ciertamente con algo en lo que reflexionar.

I'm not an expert, far from it, but I do like cinema a lot, which, in addition to entertaining, provokes social criticism, which forces us to reflect and question our own prejudices and those of our societies; I really like that cinema they call "independent".
So here's my first recommendation, I hope you like it.
// Sparrows (2015) //
Film written and directed by Rúnar Rúnnarsson, it is a youth drama where our protagonist Ari, a 16-year-old young man, tries to maintain his innocence and that of his loved ones in what seems like a harsh, hopeless society where he sensitivity seems to have no place.
The story revolves around Ari, a boy from the city, who lives with his mother and his stepfather until they can no longer take care of him. It is at that moment that Ari returns to a fishing village in the Icelandic fjords with his father, an unemployed alcoholic man, and his grandmother, the only one who seems to know how to treat the boy.
Ari and his father try to reestablish their relationship, but wasted time and such opposing personalities seem insurmountable. It is there where Ari tries to find refuge with those of his age, but finds himself again with an aggressive and brutal society.
The film's photography shows us incredible, almost wild landscapes. With long shots and shots that make the first two-thirds of the film go very slowly, perhaps too slowly at times. The lack of nights during the summer solstice seems to suffocate and oppress the inhabitants of this part of the world, who seek an escape in the continuous drunkenness and parties with friends.
The characters are excellently constructed and during the last third of the film everything ends up soberly closing, leaving the viewer with a pain in the chest and certainly something to ponder.
>_ Espero puedan ver esta gran película del cine nórdico. Creo que vale mucho la pena verla junto a sus hijos adolescentes por los diferentes temas que trata por que el mensaje que deja es bastante fuerte y claro.
