DARK (Netflix)... "A Paradox of Predestination" [ENG/ESP]
The last cycle is near and all we can do is wait to see if anyone can break it or not... "DARK"
Hi Hivers, the third and final season of one of the most successful series of Netflix will soon be released.
This is the third post I make about this series, in the two previous ones I wanted to do a review talking about what I liked about the series and in the second one it was about the high expectations and theories (all wrong) I had about what can happen in the rest of this story, since every article made in 2017 and 2019 I think that somehow I was perceiving this story wrong or I didn't know how to express my ideas about this series so in this post I won't try to predict absolutely nothing and I won't be the one who tries to explain everything in one single post, so after watching three times the first season and twice the second one, I think it's time to finally say that I think about "DARK ".
This German series created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, is completely special, in its first season we see how in its first episodes it could be a series of suspense where different disappearances must be solved and revealing a great plot of secrets where families in the town of "Winden" could be involved, so it could be something that would capture the attention of a large number of followers without a doubt, having a dark image, would be that it brings out the suspense in each of his characters and to annex something else, It has as protagonists a group of young people who are sure to be related by the crimes, all the ingredients to be a good story, but what if we add timelines to this story, show that these disappearances occurred in other years and that the captor may be the same person at different times, keeping the secret of who it is, so it would make the series better, now I ask would not it be better that these timelines are related to the use of time travel? YES! This makes it much better, so we have crimes, different timelines, time travel, secrets and a group of young people, perfect.
What I just described is what makes this series so shocking, so great, a story that with this base of crime, suspense, secrets and time travel, have all the ingredients to be a total success, but there is something else and is related to that last ingredient in the personal and is what has always caught my attention, **the use of time travel, I have always believed that knowledge is power and it is then that we can imagine or think how much power a time traveler could have, of course this is when the traveler knows how to use and think in a calculated way what to do with that information and in this series we can see many examples of what to do or not do, with that possible knowledge that he obtains every time a traveler arrives to the past or the future.
Some travelers can manipulate time, others are only manipulated by time, here we see how there is a struggle between the use of knowledge and others are just pawns to have a supposed meaning in this story, the promise of a paradise, this is where this story from its second season is attached another recipe which is religion, man's need to believe or be called God and that is that at some point in this history time is called God and vice versa and that is one of the main struggles because as it has been said Time/God is relentless, what is written or predestined, that will happen, but written by whom? Who decides what will happen and when, seeing travellers who know how to use time and others who never took advantage of knowing what will happen in the future, for example in the two seasons we have seen there are "Adam, Claudia, Noah " and "The Stranger ", the four of them know how to use the advantage of the knowledge of the future and use others so that everything will be as it is written, although the last two even though they manipulate, They are manipulated, this is where another religious theme comes in and that is very important "Free Will ", in this series that seems not to exist in this story, everything we have seen has already happened many times and it is expected that this time in this last cycle something unexpected will happen so that those who conform "Sic Mundus " will dominate time and be Gods in front of humans.
Time manipulation, manipulation of people, this is another important issue, every event, birth, death, is related to every family in Winden, I see it as a great laboratory to do something bigger and that is demonstrated in his second season, everything is in those who are part of the study to reveal themselves against those who manipulate them so that they can be free at once and escape the control that has been imposed on them, every life depends on another and this is what fascinates the many followers of this series and is also the maximum criticism of people who do not like this type of series, I have always said that DARK, gives you the materials necessary to understand it, in his first shots he shows us that wall full of pictures of all the members of important families in Winden and with the phrase that everything is connected, it is obvious of each one has relation with another one, this takes us to another word of much importance, paradox, I believe that this is a necessary consequence for the travellers who manipulate the time, It is necessary for them that a paradox exists to maintain their survival and even creations in different lines in time, with this they are winning the battle to get the power to be Gods, I think that the paradox of who was first if the chicken or the egg, is small compared to the origins of many of the characters we see and even has the luxury of maintaining the secret of others and that surely the revelation of their origins will surprise us.
Although there are currently eighteen episodes of this series, there is still one ingredient to add, Parallel Universe, this is something I never expected, this pleasant surprise made me and makes me think that the creators of this series are capable of making each of us want to see more, I'm not saying that an extra season is asked for, but to be so faithful that it doesn't matter to watch more than once the two seasons that have already been released, this is something that called my attention a lot and that is to know what happens in another universe, how it will be possible that in only eight last episodes they can answer all the questions and make a suitable ending for this story, Notice that my expectation is high, but I still think and focus that I want to see a proper ending so I don't feel a disappointment at the end of the series, but it's hard to think about that and I must say that this great decision to do only three seasons is so great and brave because you see the control that its creators have over this series by not feeling that pressure from executives as well as the general public, I like that it was conceived this way and not fall into repetitive seasons with nothing to say.I'm not going to go into theories or repeat the many that are circulating on the web, I just want that when "The Day of the Apocalypse" arrives I can sit back and enjoy the conclusion of one of the best series I've seen and will continue to see, because I like the way it explores existentialism and human nature.
El último ciclo ya está cerca y solo nos queda esperar si alguien podrá o querrá romperlo..."DARK"
Hola Hivers, dentro muy poco se estrenara la tercera y última temporada de una de las series más exitosas de Netflix.
Este es el tercer post que hago sobre esta serie, en las dos anteriores quise hacer una reseña hablando de lo que me gusto de la serie y en la segunda fue sobre las altas expectativas y teorías (erradas todas) que tenía sobre lo que puede suceder en el resto de esta historia, desde cada artículo hecho en el 2017 y 2019 creo que de alguna forma estaba percibiendo de una forma errada esta historia o no sabía expresar muy bien mis ideas sobre esta serie así que en este post no tratare de predecir absolutamente nada ni mucho menos seré el que trate de explicar todo en una solo post, así que después de ver tres veces la primera temporada y dos veces la segunda, creo que es el tiempo de que por fin diga que pienso sobre "DARK"
Esta serie alemana creada por Baran bo Odar y Jantje Friese, es completamente especial, en su primera temporada vemos como en sus primeros episodios pudiera ser una serie de suspendo donde se debe resolver diferentes desapariciones y revelando una gran trama de secretos donde familias en el pueblo de "Winden" pudieran estar involucradas, así tal cual pudiera ser algo que captaría la atención de un gran número de seguidores sin alguna duda, teniendo una imagen oscura, sería que hace resaltar el suspenso en cada uno de sus personajes y para anexar algo más, se tiene como protagonistas a un grupo de jóvenes que de seguro estarán relacionados por los crímenes, todo los ingredientes para ser una buena historia, pero que tal si a esto le anexamos líneas temporales, revelar que esta desapariciones ocurrieron en otros años y que el captor puede ser la misma persona en diferentes tiempos, manteniendo el secreto de quien es, así se haría mejor la serie, ahora pregunto ¿no sería mejor que esas líneas temporales se relacionaran con el uso de viajes en el tiempo? ¡CLARO QUE SI! Esto la hace mucho mejor y es donde frases como "Todo está conectado" se hace cada vez más fuerte.
Lo que acabo de describir es lo que hace que esta serie sea tan llamativa, tan genial, una historia que con esta base de crímenes, suspenso, secretos y viajes en el tiempo, tengan todos los ingredientes para ser un total éxito, pero hay algo más y está relacionado a ese último ingrediente en lo personal y es lo que siempre me ha llamado la atención, el uso de los viajes en el tiempo, siempre he creído que el conocimiento es poder y es entonces que podemos imaginar o pensar que tanto poder pude tener un viajero en el tiempo, claro esto es cuando el viajero sabe usar y pensar de forma calculada que hacer con esa información y en esta serie podemos ver muchos ejemplos de que hacer o no, con ese posible conocimiento que obtiene cada vez que un viajero llega al pasado o el futuro.
Algunos viajeros pueden manipular el tiempo, otros son solamente manipulados por el tiempo, aquí vemos como existe una lucha entre el uso del conocimiento y como otros son solo peones para tener un supuesto fin, la promesa de un paraíso, es aquí donde esta historia desde su segunda emporada se le anexa otra receta más la cual es la religión, la necesidad del hombre de creer o de ser llamado Dios y es que en algún momento de esta historia el tiempo es llamado Dios y viceversa y esa es una de las principales luchas ya que como se ha dicho El Tiempo/Dios es implacable, lo que está escrito o predestinado, eso sucederá, pero ¿escrito por quién? Quien decide que sucederá y cuando, viendo a viajeros que saben usar el tiempo y otros que nunca aprovecharon esa ventaja de saber que sucederá en el futuro, por ejemplo en las dos temporadas que hemos visto existen "Adam, Claudia, Noah" y "El Extraño", ellos cuatro saben usar la ventaja del conocimiento del futuro y usan a otros para que todo sea como está escrito, aunque los dos últimos a pesar de que manipulan, ellos son manipulados, es aquí donde entra otro tema religioso y que es muy importante "El Libre Albedrio", en esta serie eso parece no existir en esta historia, todo lo que hemos visto ya ha sucedido muchas veces y se espera que esta vez en este último ciclo sea el que ocurra algo inesperado para que los que conforman "Sic Mundus" dominen al tiempo y sean Dioses frente humanos.
Manipulación del tiempo, manipulación de las personas, esto es otra de los temas importantes, cada suceso, nacimiento, muerte, está relacionado a cada familia en Winden, yo lo veo como un gran laboratorio para hacer algo más grande y eso queda demostrado en su segunda temporada, todo queda en los que son parte del estudio revelarse contra quien los manipula para así ser libres de una vez y puedan huir del control que les han impuesto, cada vida depende de otra y esto es lo que fascina a los muchos seguidores de esta serie y también es la máxima critica de las personas que no les gusta este tipo de serie, yo siempre he dicho que DARK, te da los materiales necesarios para entenderla, en sus primeras tomas nos muestra esa pared llena de fotografías de todos los integrantes de familias importantes en Winden y con la frase de que todo está conectado, es obvio de cada uno tiene relación con otro, esto nos lleva a otra palabra de mucha importancia, paradoja, creo que esta es una consecuencia necesaria para los viajeros que manipulan el tiempo, es necesario para ellos que exista una paradoja para mantener su supervivencia y hasta creaciones en diferentes líneas en el tiempo, con esto van ganando la batalla para conseguir el poder para ser Dioses, creo que la paradoja de quien fue primero si el huevo o la gallina, queda pequeña con los orígenes de muchos de los personajes que vemos y hasta se tiene el lujo de mantener el secreto de otros y que de seguro la revelación de sus orígenes nos sorprenderá.
A pesar de que por los momentos hay dieciocho episodios de esta serie, todavía queda un ingrediente para agregar, Universos Paralelos, esto si que no me lo espere nunca, esta grata sorpresa me hizo y me hace pensar de que son capaces los creadores de esta serie para que cada uno de nosotros queramos ver más, no digo que se pida un temporada extra, sino ser tan fiel que no importa ver más de una vez las dos temporadas que ya han sido estrenadas, esto es algo que me llamo mucho la atención y es saber que sucede en otro universo, como será posible que en tan solo ocho últimos episodios puedan responder todas las preguntas y hagan un final adecuado para esta historia, fíjense que mi expectativa es alta, pero sigo pensando y enfocándome que quiera ver un final adecuado para no sentir una decepción al final de la serie, pero se hace difícil pensar en eso y debo decir que esta gran decisión de hacer solo tres temporadas es tan genial y valiente porque se ve el control que tienen sus creadores sobre esta serie al no sentir esa presión de directivos como del público en general, me gusta que haya sido concebida de esta forma y no caer en temporadas repetitivas sin nada que contar. No voy a entrar en decir teorías o repetir las muchas que circulan en la red, solo quiero que cuando llegue "El Día del Apocalipsis" pueda sentarme y disfrutar del cierre de una de las mejores series que he visto y que seguiré viendo, porque me gusta el cómo se explora el existencialismo y la naturaleza humana.
