Palm Springs (2020): ¿Qué locuras harías si estuvieras atrapado en el mismo día por siempre?
"Ayer es hoy, hoy es hoy y mañana es hoy". Esta película propone el típico bucle de tiempos en el que el mismo día se repite una, otra y otra vez, donde dos personas quedan atrapados y buscan salir de este bucle a toda costa, pero a pesar de que este concepto es algo cliché, esta vez funciona muy bien.
"Yesterday is today, today is today and tomorrow is today." Y es que está cinta no es solo una comedia muy hilarante, que te hará reír de comienzo a fin, te lo puedo asegurar, sino que también te hará reflexionar acerca de diferentes cosas en la vida, como buscar un significado a lo que hacemos en nuestra tiempo en la Tierra, por ejemplo, que nunca está de más.

La dirección y el guión de está película fueron muy ingeniosos, sobre todo en la confección de la comedia, ya qué cuenta con un humor muy fresco, algunas veces inteligente y otras veces recurriendo a la comedia física, funcionando también muy bien.

El desarrollo de la cinta y la historia también son para resaltar, al ver a Nyles asistiendo a una boda con ropa hawaiana y estando 3 pasos adelante de todo, nos hacen entender rápidamente que ha vivido ese día un número incontable de veces, lo que ayuda a Sarah a resignarse rápidamente y vivir gran parte de las situaciones hilarantes qué esto provoca.
The development of the film and the story are also to highlight, seeing Nyles attending a wedding in Hawaiian clothes and being 3 steps ahead of everything, makes us quickly understand that he has lived that day countless times, which helps Sarah to resign herself quickly and live most of the hilarious situations that this causes.
En cuanto a los actores, no tengo más nada que decir que son de los mejor. Andy Samberg es un cómico con un don único, cada vez que lo veo se que vendrá algo bueno (como por ejemplo en su serie Brooklyn Nine-Nine, que la recomiendo a ojos cerrados) y Cristin Milioti, que solo de recordarla de la serie de HIMYM, no puedo odiar nada de lo que haga.
As for the actors, I have nothing more to say that they are the best. Andy Samberg is a comedian with a unique gift, every time I see him I know something good will come (as for example in his series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which I recommend with closed eyes) and Cristin Milioti, who just remembering her from the series from HIMYM, I can't hate anything I do.
Pero fuera de mis opiniones de los actores, siendo más objetivos hicieron un gran trabajo, sino los reto a que me digan que no les gustó la película, jajaja. También quiero hacer una mención especial a J.K. Simmons, que a pesar de ser un secundario, cada escena que hizo fue buenísima, quedándome con ganas de ver más (y quién sabe hasta una secuela con base a las escenas finales, jajaja).
But outside of my opinions of the actors, being more objective they did a great job, but I challenge them to tell me that they did not like the movie, jajaja. I also want to make a special mention of J.K. Simmons, that despite being a secondary, each scene he did was great, leaving me wanting to see more (and who knows even a sequel based on the final scenes, jajaja).
En conclusión, no es la mejor película de comedia de todos los tiempos, pero funciona en muchos sentidos, estarás con un sonrisa en todo momento y te ayuda a reflexionar un poco de como estás llevando tu vida, lo que es un plus. Sinceramente me gustaría ver una precuela con todas las locuras que hizo Nyles, incluido al lunático de Roy, me imagino que será legendario, jajaja.
