The Breakthrough Movie Review

Have you seen this movie? If no, you should know it's a must watch movie. Why? I will tell you the reason.

Breakthrough is a movie that is based on a true story and portrays the power of possibilities amongst impossibilities. What do I mean by that?

The movie is about an adopted son who couldn't bring himself to love his adopted parents because of the hurt he had from his parents who abandoned him. He troubles his adopted parents and kept giving them worries.

"Maybe God saw all his deeds and thought of teaching him a lesson in His own way"

The adopted son whose name was John went to an icy lake with his friends against advice given to them. He fell into the ice where he stayed for more than 20 minutes before he was found by a man who almost gave up in searching for him. Mark was taken to the hospital with out having any pulse, he was most likely dead as said by the doctor.

Now, here is the most interesting and spirit filled part of the movie.

The adopted mother of Mark refused to accept that her son was dead and she asked the doctors to do what ever they can and her God will take care of the rest. Every other person had lost faith but the woman kept her faith strong, she believed stronger everyday. She never left Mark's side and she always prays for him.

Another part of the movie that got me into tears was when the woman rebuked every person who talks negatively in the boy's room. She felt her son could hear them so they were only allowed to say positive words close to him. Mark's friends at school joined hands with their pastor and the woman and they put Mark into prayers, they visited him at the hospital and sang beautiful songs that made me shed tears even more.

Every person in the country heard about the situation through the news and they joined in. The whole country started to pray for Mark and that was it, Mark revived again to become a changed boy. And so many persons believed more in God because He did an impossible.

Like I said, it's a movie you should watch. Lots of lessons can be drawn from this movie.
