WandaVision Review - Episode 7 / Reseña WandaVision - Episodio 7
Greetings dear friends of #hive and Marvel lovers! We have reached the seventh episode of this fantastic series that has introduced us to phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the truth is that as every week they excel in the episode, this one titled "Down with the fourth wall", has nothing to envy to the previous ones.

Hemos llegado al séptimo episodio de esta fantástica serie que nos ha introducido en la fase 4 del Universo Cinematográfico Marvel y la verdad es que como cada semana se superan en el episodio, este titulado “Abajo la cuarta pared”, no tiene nada que envidiarle a los anteriores.
The intro of this episode has changed, now we can only see different versions of the word Wanda and at the end, joins the word Vision, in a calendar that still has marked the day 10, as in episode 1. We can see a clear influence for this chapter of series like Modern Family and The Office.
La intro de este episodio ha cambiado, ahora solo podemos ver diferentes versiones de la palabra Wanda y al final, se une la palabra Visión, en un calendario que sigue teniendo marcado el día 10, como en el episodio 1. Podemos ver una clara influencia para este capítulo de series como Modern Family y The Office.
The 3 acts that we are going to develop in this episode are the following:
- Sequence of what has happened since the previous episode and how Wanda is losing control, ending with the commercial.
- Monica's entrance into the Hex and her confrontation with Wanda.
- The Revelation of Agnes as Agatha Harkness.
Los 3 actos que vamos a desarrollar en este episodio son los siguientes:
- Secuencia de lo que ha sucedido desde el episodio anterior y cómo Wanda va perdiendo el control, terminando con el comercial.
- La entrada de Mónica en el Hex y su enfrentamiento con Wanda.
- La Revelación de Agnes como Ágata Harkness.
Act 1
This act begins with the effects and consequences of what happened in the previous chapter. Wanda wakes up in an empty bed without Vision by her side. Throughout this chapter there are documentary type cuts where the protagonists are talking to the camera, in the first instance, Wanda feels depressed for having been carried away by fear and depression.
Acto 1
Este acto comienza con los efectos y consecuencias de lo ocurrido en el capítulo anterior. Wanda despierta en una cama vacía sin Visión a su lado. En todo este capítulo se hacen cortes tipo documental donde los protagonistas van hablándole a la cámara, en primera instancia, Wanda se siente deprimida por haberse dejado llevar por el miedo y la depresión.
We can see how little Billy is developing his powers, he knows that his mother is not all right. The magic inside the house starts to fail, we can see little glitches that make objects change and Wanda has no control over it. Then Angnes arrives and realizes that there is something not right with Wanda so he offers to take care of the twins that day.
Podemos ver como el pequeño Billy va desarrollando sus poderes, él sabe que su madre no está del todo bien. La magia dentro de la casa comienza a fallar, podemos ver pequeños glitchs que hacen que los objetos cambien y Wanda no tiene control sobre ello. Luego llega Angnes y se da cuenta que hay algo que no está bien con Wanda por lo cual se ofrece a cuidar a los gemelos ese día.
Another of the most important revelations of this episode, are the true intentions of the Director of S.W.O.R.D. who is only interested in rescuing Vision to use him as a weapon. On the other hand, inside reality, we see Darcy who meets Vision, but she does not recognize him, Vision manages to disconnect her from that pocket reality because he knows that Darcy can give him the answers he needs.
Otra de las revelaciones más importantes de este episodio, son las verdaderas intenciones del Director de S.W.O.R.D a quien solamente le interesa rescatar a Visión para usarlo como arma. Por otra parte, dentro de la realidad, vemos a Darcy quien se encuentra con Visión, pero ella no lo reconoce, Visión logra desconectarla de esa realidad de bolsillo porque sabe que Darcy puede darle las respuestas que él necesita.
Act 2
In this second act we see Agnes' house, a bit gloomy. She is with the twins, particularly interested in Billy who realizes that his mind is different from the others, it is more "silent" as the boy himself tells her.
Acto 2
En este segundo acto vemos la casa de Agnes, un poco sombría. Ella está con los gemelos, particularmente interesada en Billy quien se da cuenta que su mente es diferente a la de los demás, es más “silenciosa” como el mismo niño le dice.
Later, we see Monica's transformation into Photon as she goes through the He on her own. Already in previous chapters we had been told that going through Hex, could affect cells at the molecular level. Monica throws herself against the barrier and crosses it full of pain, she concentrates to not let Wanda absorb her personality, she struggles not to split into the various versions of herself. It is until this moment that Monica manages to cope with the mourning for her mother's death.
Más adelante, vemos la transformación de Mónica en Photon al atravesar por su cuenta el Hex. Ya en capítulos anteriores se nos había dicho que atravesar el Hex, podría afectar las células a nivel molecular. Mónica se arroja contra la barrera y la atraviesa llena de dolor, se concentra para no dejar que Wanda absorba su personalidad, lucha por no dividirse en las varias versiones de sí misma. Es hasta este momento que Mónica logra enfrentar el duelo por la muerte de su madre.
Inside the pocket reality, we see how Darcy explains to Vision all about his past and how Wanda had to watch him die 2 times, in this way Vision begins to understand his wife's pain in these last weeks. As he and Darcy go to the house, many obstacles present themselves, it seems that Wanda or someone else is trying to delay him from getting home.
Dentro de la realidad de bolsillo, vemos como Darcy le explica a Visión todo sobre su pasado y cómo Wanda tuvo que verlo morir 2 veces, de esta manera Visión comienza a entender el dolor de su esposa en estas últimas semanas. Mientras él y Darcy van a la casa, se presentan muchos obstáculos, pareciera que Wanda o alguien más intentan retrasarlo para que no llegue a casa.
After Monica's transformation, Monica arrives at Wanda's house to confront her and try to explain that she is on her side and that it is Hayward who is the real villain, but Wanda does not want to listen to her, Monica shares her pain for the loss of her mother to Wanda, so she can see that she is not alone but the conversation is interrupted by Agnes who takes Wanda away and asks Monica to leave.
Tras la transformación de Mónica, ésta llega a la casa de Wanda para confrontarla y tratar de explicarle que está de su lado y que es Hayward quien es el verdadero villano, pero Wanda no quiere escucharla, Mónica le comparte su dolor por la pérdida de su madre a Wanda, para que vea que no está sola pero la conversación es interrumpida por Agnes quien se lleva a Wanda y le pide a Mónica que se vaya.
Act 3
Agnes invites Wanda for the first time to her house, who begins to ask her about the twins since Agnes was babysitting them, she tells her that they are in the basement, whereupon Wanda begins to go downstairs until she finds herself in some sort of a dungeon. It is at this point that it is revealed that Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness.
Acto 3
Agnes invita a Wanda por primera vez a su casa, quien comienza a preguntarle por los gemelos ya que Agnes estaba cuidándolos, ella le dice que están en el sótano, por lo cual Wanda comienza a bajar hasta encontrarse como en especie de un calabozo. Es en este punto donde se revela que Agnes es en realidad Agatha Harkness.
Entra un segundo opening de la serie donde se nos cuenta como Agatha Harkness ha estado manipulando todo desde el inicio. Ella invocó a Pietro y también fingió no saber nada de lo que estaba pasando cuando Visión intentó ayudarla. Ella es la persona detrás de cámaras que intentó hablar con Wanda.
Post-Credit Scene / Escena Post-Crédito
This is the first episode of the series with a post-credits scene, as Marvel has us used to, it's a really short scene, Monica is about to enter Agatha Harkness' basement when Pietro arrives and scares her.
Este es el primer episodio de la serie con escena post-créditos, como nos tiene acostumbrados Marvel, es una escena realmente corta, Mónica está a punto de entrar al sótano de Agatha Harkness cuando Pietro llega y la asusta.
What will the 8th chapter of this amazing series hold for us? I really can't wait for Friday to know what things will be answered and what others will be left to be deciphered in the following movies and series of this phase 4 of the MCU.
¿Qué nos deparará el 8 capítulo de esta increíble serie? Realmente no puedo esperar a que sea viernes para saber a qué cosas darán respuesta y cuáles otras quedarán para ser descifradas en las siguientes películas y series de esta fase 4 del MCU.
