Incognito/Inside Job (Reseña/Review)

En un mundo lleno de conspiraciones, para algunos se les dificulta el poder distinguir la verdad de la mentira, siendo engañados por otros por diversión o por maldad, en USA una compañía llamada Cognito Inc se encarga de esconder las verdades, tapándolas con tonterías que las personas pueden olvidar rápido ¿La tierra es plana? ¿Los alienígenas existen? ¿Gente reptil que cambia forma? Solo ellos saben la verdad.

Las series animadas son mi debilidad, veo muchas de ellas. Son cortas, entretenidas, a veces graciosas, con buenas historias que tal vez no puedan hacer en live action, eso es lo que me atrapa mayormente, entretenerme viendo algo sencillo y fresco. En esta ocasión, una serie animada de Netflix donde las teorías conspirativas son reales, existiendo una compañía que se encarga de encubrirlas.

Al leer la descripción me pareció que seria una serie de capítulos que no tenían que ver ninguno con el otro, siendo historias de un capitulo como muchas series animadas, decidí verla por esa razón, para ver algo nuevo y sencillo. La canción del inicio sonaba mucho en mi cabeza, me recordaba a algún otro intro de serie animada que no podía recordar, luego pensé en Gravity Falls pero no creí que fuese esa, buscando quienes son los creadores vi que Alex Hirsch, creador de Gravity Falls fue un productor ejecutivo de la serie, cerrándome la idea de que si tenían cierto parecido.

La serie presenta un universo de múltiple posibilidades, con personajes rotos y sin sentido, en varias ocasiones me dio el aire de ser como Rick y Morty, por las invenciones de momento, el papa alcohólico súper genio, podría verse como una copia incluso, tal vez esa puede ser la critica más fuerte que puede recibir la serie. Contiene diez capítulos en donde cada uno es una historia diferente con pequeñas uniones con otros capítulos pasados, así considere que podía ser y así fue, en los últimos capítulos quisieron darle un aire de misterio e historia que podría seguir en la siguiente temporada, pero algo me dice que será igual a la primera, haciendo que no muchas personas se sientan atraídas por la historia sino solo para pasar el rato viendo algo tonto.

Tiene potencial, podrían hacer muchas cosas, si pueden llevar bien su historia podría dejar de dar ese aire de Rick y Morty, conseguir su propia huella, no lo se, es entretenida por supuesto, pero se sintió como algo ya visto varias veces. Incognito lo recomiendo por supuesto, para pasar el rato y ver historias raras, solo deseo que puedan mejorar el guion para que sea remarcable y no olvidable.

Animated series are my weakness, I watch a lot of them. They are short, entertaining, sometimes funny, with good stories that maybe they can't do in live action, that's what catches me the most, entertaining me by watching something simple and fresh. On this occasion, a Netflix animated series where conspiracy theories are real, and there is a company that is responsible for covering them up.

When reading the description it seemed to me that it would be a series of chapters that had nothing to do with each other, being stories of a chapter like many animated series, I decided to watch it for that reason, to see something new and simple. The song at the beginning sounded a lot in my head, it reminded me of some other animated series intro that I could not remember, then I thought of Gravity Falls but I did not think it was that, looking for who are the creators I saw that Alex Hirsch, creator of Gravity Falls was an executive producer on the series, closing off the idea that they did have a certain resemblance.

The series presents a universe of multiple possibilities, with broken and meaningless characters, on several occasions it gave me the air of being like Rick and Morty, due to the inventions of the moment, the super genius alcoholic pope, it could be seen as a copy even, such Maybe that may be the strongest criticism the series can receive. It contains ten chapters where each one is a different story with small links with other past chapters, so consider what it could be and it was, in the last chapters they wanted to give it an air of mystery and history that could continue in the next season, but something tells me that it will be the same as the first one, causing not many people to be drawn to the story but only to pass the time watching something silly.

It has potential, they could do many things, if they can handle their story well, they could stop giving that Rick and Morty air, get their own mark, I do not know, it is entertaining of course, but it felt like something already seen several times. I recommend it of course, to hang out and see rare stories, I just wish they can improve the script so that it is remarkable and not forgettable.
