Hola Hivers, en esta oportunidad quiero participar en una iniciativa que me ha parecido bastante interesante de @littlegremlin, donde estaremos mencionando 3 películas que nos dieron tanto miedo como para provocar pesadillas, algo que prácticamente nos ocurre a todos, sobre todo cuando somos niños, ese es mi caso, de niño me atreví a ver algunas películas de terror aparentando una gran madurez y valentía, sin embargo, la consecuencias eran pesadillas o en algunos caso no dormir bien la noche de ver ese tipo de películas.
Normalmente no me da miedo las películas, por supuesto, ya soy adulto, sin embargo, muchas veces cuando somos niños nos atrevemos a ver películas a pesar de no estar preparados para verlas, de niño quería aparentar ser alguien con gran valentía y me atreví a ver películas que me causaron bastante miedo. Luego de que pasaron los años ya no tuve ese problema, las películas de terror y de suspenso son un género bastante interesante para mí.
La primera película que mencionaré en esa iniciativa creo que fue la primera producción cinematográfica de terror que vi en mi vida, o por lo menos la que realmente recuerdo, es una película que tiene varios años desde su lanzamiento, pero que definitivamente me causó pesadillas

Esta película de 1994 creo que es la primera del género de terror que vi. Recuerdo que ese día me quedé en casa de mis amigos, todos teníamos edades parecidas, solo con diferencias de 3 años. Era tarde en la noche y en la televisión estaban transmitiendo Wes Craven's New Nightmare, ya había pasado algunos años desde su estreno así que todos nos miramos las caras y nos preguntamos si debíamos verla, era una película bastante famosa, de uno de los personajes más icónicos del cine, evidentemente como éramos niños solo sabíamos que era una película bastante famosa pero no sabíamos muy bien la trama, solo sabíamos que era de terror. Por supuesto todos en la habitación dijimos un rotundo si, la valentía tenía que reflejarse entre los amigos no había espacio para los cobardes en nuestro circulo de amistad. Decidimos ver esa película que apenas estaba comenzando para demostrar nuestra madurez, simplemente no queríamos ser más niños y pensábamos que ver este tipo de películas seriamos más como los adultos.
Tal vez tenía entre 6 o 7 años cuando vi Wes Craven's New Nightmare, me impresionó los efectos especiales y las muertes, veía como Freddy Krueger asesinaba a las personas a través de sus sueños, este aspecto fue el que me produjo terror desde el principio, es decir, puede estar en cada persona que duerma, todos necesitamos dormir así que ese asesino de Freddy puede matar a cualquier persona. Solo recuerdo algunas escenas que vi en esa película
Solo recuerdo algunas escenas que vi en esa película, gran parte de las películas me ocultaba bajo la sabanas, a menos que alguno de mis amigos volteara a verme, en ese caso mi mirada estaba puesta en el televisor con una mirada de cierto desprecio de la película y por el poco susto que me causaba pero en mi interior estaba temblando.
Años después le pregunté a mis amigos y supe que sintieron lo mismo que yo al ver esa película, a pesar de que tuve esa noche terrorífica en mi infancia y algunas pesadillas con Freddy Krueger, recuerdo este personaje con bastante nostalgia y es uno de mis personajes preferidos en el género de terror.
Sexto Sentido:
Otra de las películas que me causo pesadillas fue Sexto Sentido, tendría como 10 o 11 cuando vi por primera vez esta película, que por las condiciones en que la vi me causaron pesadillas y bastante terror.
Recuerdo que las personas hablaban en ese momento de la película, la estaban pasando en televisión, al igual que en la película de Freddy decidí hacerme el valiente y verla, la diferencia en esta ocasión es que estaba completamente solo en la casa, mi madre había salido y me dejó solo pensando que estaba dormido, sin embargo estaba viendo Sexto Sentido, recuerdo que mi madre al salir apago todas las luces para que no perturbaran mi sueño, en la casa solo estaba prendido el televisor. Las escenas de suspenso y la trama me envolvieron, pensar que en cualquier sitio pueden estar personas muertas simplemente me causó terror.
Quería seguir viendo la película pero cada minuto que pasaba me asustaba más, pensaba que personas fallecidas podrían estar cerca de la casa o incluso dentro de ella, viéndome o esperando a que me moviera, eso me causaba pánico. Pero debía demostrarme a mí mismo que era valiente, esperaba que mis amigos me preguntaran sobre la película yo debía poder responderles, así que decidí verla hasta el final.
Esto supuso algunas pesadillas y bastante miedo cuando el viento movía objetos en la casa o escuchaba un ruido extraño, pensaba que en cualquier momento vería caminar una persona por el pasillo.
En lo particular me parece uno de los clásicos de este género, pienso que las actuaciones son bastante buenas y luego de superar ese miedo que me causó ver esa película a altas horas de la noche completamente solo, me da nostalgia recordarla y es una de las películas de terror y suspenso que no me canso de verla.
El Ojo
Esta película presenta una trama parecida a sexto sentido, al realizarse un trasplante d cornea la protagonista puede ver muertos en todas partes, al principio no sabe que son realmente debido a que tenía muchos años ciega, sin embargo, le causan terror al ver los extraños sucesos que solamente ella puede observar. Tengo que decir que la película que me dio pesadilla fue la del año 2002, la original producida en Hong Kong.
La película a muchos le pareció mala o aburrida, sin embargo, a mí me asustó bastante debido a que la vi en el momento del estreno, en ese momento tenía poco menos de 12 años y me causaba pánico pensar que los muertos convivían con nosotros en el mundo de los vivos, algo que había visto años atrás en Sexto Sentido, este aspecto me parecía bastante tenebroso de las películas.
Una de las escenas que recuerdo bastante de esta película es cuando la protagonista entra en un ascensor, había alguien allí de espaldas, ella entra sin darle mucha importancia al principio, luego observamos que esta persona no era del mundo de los vivos, estaba levitando y sus pies no tocaban el piso del ascensor, este anciano se va volteando poco a poco hacia la protagonista y acercando cada vez más a ella. Estar en un espacio cerrado y con reducido espacio teniendo un fantasma que se va acercando poco a poco sin dudas me causo bastante miedo a esa edad.
Al pasar los años me gustaron las películas de terror, al crecer ya muy pocas dar miedo realmente, el juego de cámaras, el suspenso y los efectos de sonido juegan un papel cada vez más importante y poco a poco los espectadores son más exigentes con este tipo de películas incluyéndome a mí.
Esta fue mi participación, en esta iniciativa, agradezco haber superado mis miedos. Creo que las películas me impactaron por la manera en que las vi y sobre todo por la edad que tenía al momento de verlas. En lo particular pienso que Freddy Krueger y Sexto Sentido son clásicos e iconos de la industria en el género de terror películas que ahora puedo ver y reírme de mi mismo en el pasado.

Normally I am not afraid of movies, of course, I am an adult, however, many times when we are children we dare to watch movies even though we are not prepared to see them, as a child I wanted to appear to be someone with great courage and I dared to watch movies that caused me a lot of fear. After the years went by I didn't have that problem anymore, horror and suspense movies are a very interesting genre for me.
The first movie that I will mention in this initiative I think it was the first horror film production that I saw in my life, or at least the one I really remember, it is a movie that has several years since its release, but that definitely caused me nightmares.

This 1994 film I believe is the first film in the horror genre that I saw. I remember staying at my friends house that day, we were all similar ages, only 3 years apart. It was late at night and Wes Craven's New Nightmare was on TV, it had already been a few years since its premiere so we all looked at each other's faces and wondered if we should watch it, it was a pretty famous movie, from one of the most iconic characters of cinema, obviously as we were kids we only knew it was a pretty famous movie but we didn't know the plot very well, we only knew it was horror. Of course everyone in the room said a resounding yes, bravery had to be reflected among friends there was no room for cowards in our circle of friendship. We decided to watch this movie that was just starting to show our maturity, we just didn't want to be kids anymore and thought that watching this kind of movies we would be more like adults.
I was maybe between 6 or 7 years old when I saw Wes Craven's New Nightmare, I was impressed with the special effects and the deaths, I could see how Freddy Krueger was killing people through their dreams, this aspect was the one that made me terrified from the beginning, I mean, he can be in every person that sleeps, we all need sleep so that Freddy killer can kill anyone. I only remember some scenes I saw in that movie
I only remember a few scenes I saw in that movie, most of the movies I hid under the sheets, unless one of my friends turned to see me, in that case my gaze was on the TV with a look of certain contempt for the movie and for the little scare it caused me but inside I was shaking.
Years later I asked my friends and I knew that they felt the same as I did when watching that movie, even though I had that terrifying night in my childhood and some nightmares with Freddy Krueger, I remember this character with quite nostalgia and he is one of my favorite characters in the horror genre.
Sixth Sense:
Another movie that caused me nightmares was Sixth Sense, I would have about 10 or 11 when I first saw this movie, which by the conditions in which I saw it caused me nightmares and quite a lot of terror.
I remember that people were talking about the movie at that time, they were showing it on television, just like in Freddy's movie I decided to act brave and watch it, the difference this time was that I was all alone in the house, my mother had gone out and left me alone thinking I was asleep, however I was watching Sixth Sense, I remember that my mother turned off all the lights when she left so they would not disturb my sleep, in the house only the TV was on. The suspense scenes and the plot enveloped me, to think that anywhere there could be dead people simply caused me terror.
I wanted to continue watching the movie but every minute that passed scared me more, I thought that dead people could be near the house or even inside it, watching me or waiting for me to move, that caused me panic. But I had to prove to myself that I was brave, I expected my friends to ask me about the movie I should be able to answer them, so I decided to watch it to the end.
This meant some nightmares and quite a lot of fear when the wind moved objects in the house or I heard a strange noise, I thought that at any moment I would see a person walking down the hallway.
In particular it seems to me one of the classics of this genre, I think the performances are pretty good and after overcoming that fear that caused me to see that movie late at night all alone, it gives me nostalgia to remember it and it is one of the horror and suspense movies that I never get tired of watching it.
The Eye
This movie presents a plot similar to the sixth sense, after a cornea transplant the protagonist can see dead people everywhere, at first she doesn't know that they are really dead because she was blind for many years, however, they cause her terror when she sees the strange events that only she can observe. I have to say that the movie that gave me a nightmare was the 2002 film, the original one produced in Hong Kong.
The movie seemed bad or boring to many, however, to me it was quite scary because I saw it at the time of release, at that time I was just under 12 years old and it caused me panic to think that the dead coexisted with us in the world of the living, something I had seen years before in Sixth Sense, this aspect seemed to me quite scary movies.
One of the scenes that I remember quite a lot from this film is when the protagonist enters an elevator, there was someone there with his back turned, she enters without giving him much importance at first, then we observe that this person was not from the world of the living, he was levitating and his feet did not touch the floor of the elevator, this old man is gradually turning towards the protagonist and getting closer and closer to her. Being in an enclosed space and with reduced space having a ghost that is approaching little by little undoubtedly caused me a lot of fear at that age.
As the years went by I liked horror movies, as I grew older very few of them were really scary, the game of cameras, suspense and sound effects play an increasingly important role and little by little the viewers are more demanding with this type of movies including me.
This was my participation in this initiative, I am grateful to have overcome my fears. I think the films had an impact on me because of the way I saw them and above all because of the age I was when I saw them. In particular I think Freddy Krueger and Sixth Sense are classics and industry icons in the horror genre films that I can now watch and laugh at myself in the past.

El Sexto Sentido es el mejor thriller psicológico sobrenatural que se ha hecho en la historia del cine.
La trama tiene tantas puertas que no sabemos cuál abrir y hacia dónde pueden ir cada una de ellas. La primera vez que ni está película pensé que estaba viendo una trama policial que tenía como atractivo el apoyo de un niño con habilidades especiales pero nunca me espere lo que pasaría hasta el final. En resumen una película que te puede hacer volar la cabeza.

Tres buenas películas. Entiendo qu e Sexto Sentido la viste siendo un niño y por eso sentiste terror. Yo ya no era un niño cuando la vi, recuerdo el día exacto porque la vi en una cita con una chica y terminamos ligando después de salir del cine jajaja.
El Ojo es muy buena peli de terror asiática, no estoy seguro si le hicieron remake americano.

A mi el genero de terror, y mientras mas extremo sea, me produce un estado de excitación.
