Television Shows & Movie Recommendation Series - PART 1

I promise that this is the beginning of something great. This is a series that I have always wanted to do, thank goodness that I have been able to overcome procrastination and laziness to finally get to it.

So without further ado, let me tell you how the series is going to be set up;

I will list the greats, the legendary ones, the shows and movies that everybody should watch at least once in their lifetime, then I will then do other lists, according to their genres, best movies from all the years, best movies made by my best directors or the directors that I consider the best at what they do, the best performances by my best actors and actresses, etc.

I am really excited to see where this series would take me and how it will eventually evolve and what it will evolve into.

Sooooo…… first of all, everything here is my personal opinion and should be treated as the gospel that it is. Lol.

So the GOAT series (in no particular order):

These shows are so good, and if you haven’t seen them, you are doing yourself a great disservice.

That’s a great lineup. I have watched a few already but have not watched a lot. I must get to the list and start a watch marathon 👍👍
Thanks a lot for sharing the list

I agree with much of what you wrote but I am in the minority when it comes to The Wire. I have tried on several occasions to get into that series that it seems everyone raves about constantly but it just didn't resonate with me and I have given up multiple times. Everyone tells me I have made a mistake and to get back in there and one of these days I am going to have to do precisely that. To be fair... I said the same thing about GOT at the start and it was only through the absolute insistence of a friend that I got into that and just like most people, I think it is one of the best series ever made (well, up until the last 2 seasons.)

I was really happy to see The Prestige on this list. I love that movie and am surprised when I talk to people these days only to discover that they haven't seen it and some have never even heard of it. Just an epic film.

That's really great. I see you are sort of a movie addict yourself, just like me...haha. Prestige would definitely fall in the top 3 for me if I had sorted it. And yes, there are a lot of popular shows that everyone is crazy about I just don't sync with, an example is La casa de Papel (Money Heist). I love it, it just doesn't drive me nuts as I would love.
I'll be doing more reviews of each of the shows soon. Looking forward to you dropping by. Followed.
