Ya finalizada la serie Vikings, aún queda mucho de que hablar luego de seis temporadas y un spin-off pendiente. Más allá de que la última temporada quizás no haya sido del agrado de todos, hay un aspecto que la serie deja implícitamente pero que vale la pena abordar: ¿Qué legado deja cada uno de los hijos de Ragnar? Y ¿Con cual te identificas?
Now that the Vikings series is over, there is still a lot to talk about after six seasons and a pending spin-off. Beyond the fact that the last season may not have been to everyone's liking, there is one aspect that the series leaves implicitly but that is worth addressing: What legacy does each of Ragnar's sons leave behind? Siempre estuvo buscando su lugar, al crecer sin su padre y alejarse de su hermano mayor Ubbe, se vió sin rumbo. Como guerrero no dejó nada que desear, pero carecía de dotes de liderazgo.
De parte de Ragnar, Hvirserk parece haber heredado algunos lados oscuros, como los vicios y la inestabilidad mental, y también el no deseo por el poder. Pero tal como lo predijo el vidente, hizo lo que otros no pudieron a un coste alto, todo le servió de aprendizaje.

En lo personal, siempre suele llamar mi atención lo que muchos ignoran o que pasa desapercibido pero que está siempre allí. En este sentido, mientras todos admiraban a Björn, Ubbe e Ivar, siempre me sentí algo identificado con el personaje de Hvitserk, no en sus lados oscuros sino en que está alli siempre para dar una sorpresa en cualquier momento.
Mientras la mayoría especulaba de las grandes hazañas que sus hermanos pudieran llegar a hacer antes de iniciar la última temporada, siempre supe de alguna manera que Hvitserk iba a hacer algo grande.
Por otro lado, Hvitserk representa en mayor grado lo que sería una persona real, con sus problemas emocionales e inestabilidad, que aprende con el tiempo a buscar su lugar y significado.

Personally, I am always drawn to what many ignore or what goes unnoticed but is always there. Me idéntico con Ivar Ragnarsson, a pesar de todo siempre tiene espíritu de lucha. Claro no podemos olvidar que son Vikingos despiadados que una historia muy oscura. Pero ese coraje de Ivan el Deshuesado es de admirar. Yo he tenido m8s luchas y he luchado a sangre y sudor por lograr salir adelante a pesar de las dificultades o problemas.

Me gustaron la mayoría de los que hicieron de hijos de Ragnar, por supuesto Bjorn, cuyo personaje lo conocimos desde el principio, cuando lo personificaba un niño, es el que logro mayor cariño del espectador. En segundo lugar, Ivar, quien siempre supimos que seria especial, ya que así lo cuentas los relatos nórdicos, el deshuesado original fue tan sanguinario como el de la serie.
A Hvitserk lo odio con toda mi alma. Mato a Lagherta, ademas que su personaje lo manejaron fatal los guionistas, convirtiéndolo en un yonki Puuff !!! Pero claro, tenían que hacer cuadrar la profecía del vidente que Lagherta moriría en manos de un hijo de Rganar y se inventaron toda esa chorrada, diez episodios enteros drograndose para eso. Hvitserk Te odio!!!!! Jajaja

Bjorn fue muy querido y siempre destacaba aunque no tenía el ingenio de Ragnar. Ivar (el actor) creo que hizo un excelente papel, de las mejores actuaciones de la serie, su personaje describió muy bien a los vikingos.
Cuando Lagherta llego a kattegat lloviendo yo me imaginé lo que pasaría, y pasó, creo que he visto tantas series que ya uno prevee algunas situaciones jaja.. pero tienes razón, el personaje de Hvitserk no fue manejado tan bien. Saludos y gracias por visitar!
