| Mushrooms themselves are amazing and it is not for nothing that they have been allocated a separate kingdom (in biology - this is the highest level of classification, for example, there are kingdoms of animals and plants). But myxomycetes, which have also long been attributed to the kingdom of fungi - are even more bizarre formations, which after long controversy received their own kingdom - Mycetozoa. So what are mucous membranes or myxomycetes? They are also called animal fungi, all because in their living form, which resembles a mucous spot (you could see these on the stumps and rotten trunks of trees), they are able to move short distances in search of food and water. These are essentially unicellular amoebae, but with thousands of nuclei (also called plasmodia). When myxomycetes are exposed to adverse conditions, they begin to form "fruiting" bodies, the sole purpose of which is to throw thousands of spores into the air when they mature. My photos show such "fruiting" bodies, which are very similar to rain mushrooms (Lycoperdon perlatum Pers.), But in reality are just empty containers of spores. These are such amazing creatures of mucous membranes! 😄 | Гриби самі по собі є дивовижними і недарма їм виділили окреме царство (у біології - це вищий рівень класифікації, наприклад є царства тварин та рослин). Але міксоміцети, яких також довгий час відносили до царства грибів - це ще більш химерні утворення, які після довгих суперечок отримали своє власне царство - Mycetozoa. То що таке слизовики або ж міксоміцети? Їх ще називають грибами-тваринами, це все через те, що у своїй живій формі, яка нагадує слизисту пляму (ви могли такі помічати на пеньках та гнилих стовбурах дерев), вони здатні пересуватися на невеликі відстані, в пошуках поживи та води. Це, по суті, одноклітинні амеби, але з тисячами ядер (їх ще називають плазмодіями). Коли міксоміцети потрапляють у несприятливі умови, то на них починають утворюватися "плодові" тіла, єдине призначення яких - викинути у повітря тисячі спор, коли вони дозріють. На моїх фотографіях якраз і зображені такі "плодові" тілf, які дуже схожі на гриби-дощовики ((Lycoperdon perlatum Pers.), але насправді є лише пустими контейнерами з-під спор. Ось такі дивовижні ці слизовики! 😄 |

Дякую, я і сам нещодавно дізнався про ці дивовижні створіння, в одній грибній групі у фейсбуці, сам раніше думав, що то якісь отруйні дощовики))
