Fungi Friday - Winter Mushrooms
Now that it is getting cold around here all I have are winter mushrooms for #fungifriday by @ewkaw
The rain puffed up some wood ear.
Here are some sad dried up mushrooms. Poor things are probably left over from summer.
The rain puffed up some exidia recisa.
Here is some tremella lunchbox they tend to get bright orange after a rain.
These old turkeytail are camouflaged on this old log.
These turkeytail were not camouflaged at all. They have a bit of gold looking color in them.
These ones were a bit more gray blue and drab.
Here is some sort of slime mold, possibly dog vomit slime mold just starting out.
That's all winter is now limiting my mushroom selection. I have to start growing my own now. Happy #fungifriday

The Turkey Tails are so beautiful. I love how they can vary in coulour..!!
We truly are now limited to what we can find. I know I can count on still seeing Birch Polypores/shelf fungi.
I do have an inventory of some mushrooms I've found this year. Have been purposely hanging on to them.
Looking forward to your updates on your Reishi mushrooms..!
🤗
Happy Fungi Friday @qwerrie
Yeah the reishi are still growing as antlers. I wonder if they will not make a shelf at all...
