Hello friends.

Today I'll share with you a few photos of Auricularia auricula-judae also known as wood ear or jelly eat.

It is an edible and medicinal mushroom. Modern research indicates that this mushroom has antitumor, hypoglycemic, anticoagulant, and cholesterol-lowering properties. In the past, it was used to treat sore throat or inflammations of the eyes.

I found it at the edge of the forest on a cut decaying tree log.
