Fungi Friday - VIDEOFUNGI

For today's Fungi themed Friday I collected ...
DSC00192 malo.jpg
... some video memories :D ... after this old photograph taken during the first days of autumn, in some year in between 2007 and 2013, all the following visuals ...

... will be in motion ... although the various mushroom in these short excerpts don't move much ... the world around them sometimes does ... like on this video with a beautiful cluster of fungi covering the trunk of the tree ... it was a windy, sunny day and moving branches made the sunlight flicker all around the woods creating a slightly enchanted atmosphere, very favorable to imagination and acid visions. Also, you can hear the birds tweeting ... which is always a good thing in a post, the birds are always a nice addition to everything ... in my opinion.

It gets pretty dark sometimes on the forest floor ... I came across this lovely clavarioid fungi that always give a dose of underwater look to the scene, on a dark cloudy day at the end of Summer ... I had this greenish night - view option on my small compact camera, and I used it in this low light condition ... I actually like this slightly alien, greenish atmosphere, that adds a bit of mystery.

Here you can observe some good-looking and very edible Chanterelles, in a video made in the middle of summer after a short summer rain. I took some of them home for lunch, after the shooting.

These interesting, relatively unusually shaped fungi, are the Earth stars. They look a bit like some strange alien flowers scattered through the moss and fallen leaves.

This is one of the many puffball mushroom species present here in the area ... you can encounter this type of fungi in every habitat ... some species grow on sunlit open spaces, like lawns and meadows, and some prefer darker places ... like this one, caught on video in a dense and shady part of the coastal forest filled with thorny bushes and covered with Ivy and similar plants ... and we are in the night vision again, because the day is probably cloudy and dark.

Here is a short look at one of the potentially lethal Death cap species.

On this video, you can take a look at some small, elegant mushroom on a fallen twig.

Here are some interesting small mushrooms that grow on the tree trunks ... in solid numbers.

This is a scene from a very different place - an open meadow. Growing among the edible leaves of the Plantago plant with strong healing properties, are some elegant small mushrooms ... some of them have a slightly metallic silver shine on the tops of their helmet - like caps.

Here we are back in the forest ... watching the fallen branches covered with small mushrooms ... while the birds are chatting in the background :D

Here is another forest scene ... another look on the coral - like clavarioid fungi ... in the normal, colored view this time.

Here you can see some other, more conventionally shaped mushrooms with the changing light on a windy day.

And finally here ... you can take a short, 8 seconds long look at some small mushrooms in the mud.

That's it - have a good Fungi Friday ... and life in general ... as always in these posts on Steemit, the one photograph and all the video material - is made by me ... THE END.

If I had feet like that, I'd squeeze them into every photo:)
