My eventful Mother's Day / Mi accidentado Dia de Las Madres (Eng/Espa)

Hola Hivers. Un placer saludarles.
Esta semana quiero participar en la iniciativa #VidaDeMama en la comunidad Motherhood e invitar a todas las mamás a que se unan a la misma... ahhh, pero los papás también pueden participar: estoy segura que muchos tendrán cosas interesantes que contar relacionadas al rol de nosotras como madres, así que Anímate papá y cuenta tu experiencia al lado de la mujer que te dió la vida y también de la que te ha dado tu mayor tesoro: tus hijos!
El tema del día 1 trata sobre lo que hice en este dia de las madres.
Woow... debo reconocer que fué un dia un poco contrariado que Gracias a Dios terminó bien...jajajaja.

Hello Hivers. A pleasure to greet you.
This week I want to participate in the #MomLife initiative in the Motherhood community and invite all moms to join in... ah, but dads can also participate: I'm sure many will have interesting things to tell related to the role of us as mothers, so Cheer up dad and tell your experience next to the woman who gave you life and also the one who has given you your greatest treasure: your children!
The theme of day 1 is about what I did this Mother's Day.
Wow... I must admit that it was a bit of an upsetting day but thank God it ended well...hahaha.
I tell them:
Mi chamo @mekhane, nos preparó a su abue y a mi unas ricas panquecas con queso rallado y café para desayunar...le quedaron "monstruas" como dice él...jajaja
Entre todos mis hermanos habiamos decidido preparar una sopa en casa de mi hermana Caro.
Yo vivo en una zona céntrica y algunos andaban haciendo compras, así que yo los esperaría en mi casa y de allí nos iriamos al sector donde vive mi hermana.
Yo salí a llevar unos detalles a Luz y Maruja, dos señoras de más de 70 años, solteras y sin hijos, que me han adoptado a mi como hija putativa. Igualmente visité un centro comercial y no pude dejar de tomarme unas fotos en un espacio en el lobby el cual habian decorado en alusión al dia de las madres.
Todo iba bien hasta allí...
My boy @mekhane, made his grandma and me some delicious pancakes with grated cheese and coffee for breakfast...they turned out "monstrous" as he says...hahahahahaha.
We decided to prepare soup at my sister Caro's house among all my siblings.
I live in a central area and some of them were shopping, so I would wait for them at my house and from there we would go to the area where my sister lives.
I went out to take some gifts to Luz and Maruja, two ladies in their 70's, single and childless, who have adopted me as their putative daughter. I also visited a shopping mall and could not help taking some pictures in a space in the lobby decorated in allusion to Mother's Day.
Everything was going well until there...
En el trayecto a la casa de mi hermana observo que el indicador de la temperatura del carro empieza a subir: Dios se me estaba recalentando el carro y no me podía parar porque era un sitio peligroso! Qué hago? Me preguntaba sin decir nada de lo que estaba pasando.
Bajé la velocidad y avancé poco a poco hasta que encontré un lugar que me pareció idóneo: al frente de una pequeña venta de frutas. Me bajé, abrí el capó del carro, mi hijo me trajo el agua, le eché por fuera al radiador y bajó un poco la temperatura y apagué el motor.
En ese momento sale el dueño del negocio y me dice: Ajá, yo a ti te conozco, tú eres Yaniurca ... y yo preguntandome: éste quién será?
Se me acerca y me hace recordatorios del liceo, de lo que haciamos hasta que me vino a la memoria quien era: mi amigo Norge! Muy cambiado, con barba, algo gordito...nada que ver con el chico delgado y casi lampiño que conocí.
Dios es grande y misericordioso! Norge me ayudó a revisar el carro y resulta que tenia un fusible/relex quemado. No sé que hizo pero resolvió.
On the way to my sister's house, I noticed that the car's temperature indicator started to rise: God, my car was overheating and I couldn't stop because it was a dangerous place! What should I do? I asked myself without saying anything about what was happening.
I slowed down and advanced little by little until I found a place that seemed ideal: in front of a small fruit shop. I got out, opened the hood of the car, my son brought me the water, poured it outside the radiator and lowered the temperature a little, and turned off the engine.
At that moment the owner of the store comes out and says to me: Aha, I know you, you are Yaniurca ... and I wondered: who could this be?
He comes up to me and reminds me of high school, of what we used to do until I remember who he was: my friend Norge! Very changed, with a beard, a bit chubby... nothing like the thin and almost hairless boy I knew.
God is great and merciful! Norge helped me check the car and it turns out I had a blown fuse/relex. I don't know what he did but he solved it.
Ok. Después de agradecerle digo: Sigamos pues. Se montan todos en el carro y cuando doy la vuelta para sentarme frente al volante veo el caucho de atrás y digo: trágame tieeerraaaa... EL CAUCHO ESTA DESINFLADO!... jajajaja. A bajarse todo el mundo!
Casualmente mi hermano pasó y no cargaba gato para sacar caucho; se llevó a todos a donde mi hermana para ir haciendo la sopa. Mandó a mi sobrino en moto con otro caucho y el gato para sacarlo, hicieron lo necesario y voy rumbo a una cauchera cercana a arreglar mi caucho para devolver el otro.
Llego a la cauchera: el punto no funciona. Aceptan pago móvil? Sí señora. Intento hacer la operación: transacción fallida. Noooo...tuve que dar el poquito de efectivo que tenía para poder reparar el caucho!
Empezó a llover fuertemente y yo esperando que hicieran el trabajo. Cuando estoy dispuesta a salir, el cauchero me dice: Señora, espere que deje de llover, porque en esa avenida se forma un torrente de agua muy fuerte que arrastra a los carros y se le puede volver a dañar el caucho...Uff, 44 minutos de espera!
Ok. After thanking him I say: Let's go on then. They all get in the car and when I turn around to sit in front of the steering wheel I see the rubber on the back and I say: "Oh, my gosh... THE RUBBER IS UNFLATED!... hahaha! Everybody get out!
My brother happened to pass by and he didn't have a jack to take out the rubber; he took everyone to my sister's place to make the soup. He sent my nephew on a motorcycle with another rubber and the jack to take it out, they did what was necessary and I went to a nearby rubber shop to fix my rubber to return the other one.
I get to the cashier: the point does not work. Do you accept mobile payment? Yes, ma'am. I try to make the transaction: the transaction failed. Noooo...I had to give the little bit of cash I had to repair the rubber!
It started to rain heavily and I was waiting for the work to be done. When I was ready to leave, the rubber tapper told me: Madam, wait until it stops raining, because in that avenue there is a torrent of very strong water that drags the cars and can damage the rubber again... Uff, 44 minutes of waiting!

)When I finally arrived at my sister's house, I was starving and stressed out... Thank God the soup was ready and it was just the way I like it: thick...delicious.
A pesar de los malos ratos fué un dia con un final agradable. Extraño mucho las reuniones dominicales en familia (malvado Covid!) y por eso dejé de lado la rabia y me dediqué a reir y a disfrutar con mi gente... en realidad eso era lo importante.
Sharing with my family relaxed me and relieved the frustration I was feeling, plus the great news that I will be TIA again...hahaha...my niece Nanny is pregnant and yesterday she gave us that little gift...so cute!
Despite the bad times, it was a day with a nice ending. I miss very much the Sunday family reunions (evil Covid!) and that's why I put aside the anger and I dedicated myself to laugh and enjoy with my people... actually that was the important thing.
