Hay mucho que decir / Autismo un Mundo Excepcional 💙 [Esp-Eng]
Antes de continuar, hago la acotación, sobre que no es ofensivo llamar autistas a los autistas, pues se han alzado voces con unas explicaciones no muy bien argumentadas sobre este punto que de paso es bien pequeñito, en comparación con la deuda que tiene la sociedad en el planeta entero con la población TEA. Así que, preocuparse por cambiar el uso de una palabra no es relevante ni necesario para demostrar interés por la condición.
Además, si es relevante resaltar que esta realidad abarca a todos los estratos de la sociedad, ya que existen diversos casos de autismo presentes en las familias. De tal forma, que hago un llamado para despertar el interés, seriamente y no con liviandad, con respecto al tema, al igual que la motivación por actuar adecuadamente ante algún caso de autismo.
En Abril, el #MesAzul, hay que aprovechar todos los espacios para comunicar sobre el Autismo y en mis fanpages lo estamos haciendo y más porque las actividades presenciales están suspendidas por la pandemia.
Making people aware of the autistic condition is a task of great importance that must be continuous. The month of April is called #MesAzul because, as we know, April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day and communication campaigns and special activities are carried out throughout the month that project the condition with emphasis. Only that this should not be summarized in a month and that's it, as a simple response product of emotion.
Before continuing, I make the remark that it is not offensive to call autistic people autistic, because voices have been raised with explanations not very well argued on this point, which by the way is very small, compared to the debt that society has in the entire planet with the TEA population. So worrying about changing the use of a word is neither relevant nor necessary to show interest in the condition.
In addition, if it is relevant to highlight that this reality encompasses all strata of society, since there are various cases of autism present in families. In such a way, I make a call to awaken interest, seriously and not lightly, regarding the subject, as well as the motivation to act appropriately in the face of a case of autism.
In April, the #MesAzul, we must take advantage of all the spaces to communicate about Autism and in my fanpages we are doing it and more because face-to-face activities are suspended due to the pandemic.
CUIDADO
Muchos sitios digitales… Pero elige bien.
Actualmente, existen muchos espacios digitales donde encontrar información sobre el autismo, en forma de páginas web, blogs, fanpages y demás estrategias de comunicación por las diversas redes sociales. Pero, tengamos cuidado en la selección para obtener información veraz porque cualquier cosa se puede colar por internet.
Sigue la deuda comunicacional
Paradójicamente, pese a toda esta revolución de la era digital, todavía existe una significativa falta de información sobre el Autismo y esta realidad es una constante, que silenciosamente causa graves daños a la sociedad, pues son muchas las personas que siendo autistas no han sido diagnosticadas. Es entonces, la orientación e instrucción especializada en el tema, una fuente de enriquecimiento cognitivo, pero sobre todo, de concientización para detectar y tratar adecuadamente a los autistas.
Es conveniente destacar, que elijo hablar de esta condición especial, cada vez que puedo por ser una de las realidades de la vida más frecuente y, a su vez, menos conocida por las personas. La necesidad de advertir u orientar acerca de todo lo concerniente al Autismo, con la finalidad, en primer lugar, de proporcionar una excelente calidad de vida a estos seres magníficos, con igualdad de derechos y con necesidades especiales quienes merecen la atención e integración de la sociedad. Pero de forma real y para ello falta más en la cultura de integración y de no exclusión.

Currently, there are many digital spaces where you can find information about autism, in the form of web pages, blogs, fanpages and other communication strategies through the various social networks. But, let's be careful in the selection to obtain truthful information because anything can be sneaked through the internet.
Follow the communication debt
Paradoxically, despite all this revolution of the digital age, there is still a significant lack of information about Autism and this reality is a constant, which silently causes serious damage to society, since there are many people who, being autistic, have not been diagnosed . It is then, specialized guidance and instruction on the subject, a source of cognitive enrichment, but above all, of awareness to detect and adequately treat autistics.
It should be noted that I choose to talk about this special condition whenever I can because it is one of the most frequent realities of life and, in turn, less known by people. The need to warn or guide about everything concerning Autism, in order, first of all, to provide an excellent quality of life to these magnificent beings, with equal rights and with special needs who deserve the attention and integration of the society. But in a real way and for this, more is lacking in the culture of integration and non-exclusion.
Madre y luego periodista
Como ya algunos me conocen tengo dos hijos con diagnóstico de Autismo Leve de Alto Nivel de Funcionamiento. ¡UFF! Me cansé. ¡Que nombre tan largo! Pero desde el 2011 se reconoce como Asperger al Autismo Leve. Bien, también saben que soy periodista pero gracias al diagnóstico y experiencia con mi hijo mayor nace la idea de crear un espacio llamado Autismo: Un Mundo Excepcional y desde allí aportar mi grano de arena, pues entendí que hay una deuda comunicacional. Así que como madre y luego periodista, con información de primera mano, debo proyectar el mundo del Espectro Autista.
Mother and later journalist
As some already know me, I have two children with a diagnosis of Mild High Level of Functioning Autism. UFF! I got tired. What a long name! But since 2011, Mild Autism has been recognized as Asperger. Well, they also know that I am a journalist but thanks to the diagnosis and experience with my eldest son the idea of creating a space called Autism: An Exceptional World was born and from there to contribute my grain of sand, because I understood that there is a communication debt.
