Greetings everyone welcome to my blog, yesterday I was reading about this initiative of @rafaelgreen, to write about the best gift for mum, and of course I found it a super nice topic, as soon as I finished reading the post I started to ramble about what I could give my mother, what would be for her the best gift of all?

What things could I give my mother, that she wants or needs, surely everything I give her would be very well received, like the drawings of sticks and the cards decorated with pasta and beans that I made for her in kindergarten, as well as the flowers, the chocolates, the cups, and the little decorations that we have given her for years, and for which sometimes we had to borrow her know to complete, or we asked for an advance of the allowance in a suspicious way. HAHAHA I remember she would always lend us, but she would tell us not to spend it on presents for her, and we would disobediently show up with a present, and she would always receive them with kisses, hugs and a little scolding.

What I want most for her is the full certainty that every time she looks for me she will find me, every time she calls me I will be there for her, I want to give her everything she gave me, love, so much love that it goes down to her bones, that in every detail of her life she feels loved, and that she can be sure that she will always count on me for everything that comes up, to fight against the world or to have a coffee. To give her support, to give her strength and encouragement, to give her the same confidence that she gave me, to let her know that she has my support and my backing for any decision.

To give her back in her old age the infinite amount of attention she gave me, all the caresses, the kisses, the tender looks, to listen attentively to her repeated stories, all the memories, all her mischief, her funny stories, her experiences, that she never feels lonely, not even in my physical absence, just as I know that I am always with her, what else can I give you mother? Apart from giving you everything you have sown in me, years of patience and struggle, you will never be alone, no matter what happens in the world.

And if I could convert all that I feel into something material, I would give you that house in the mountains that you yearn for so much, to return to the simplicity in which your childhood was spent, full of peace at all times.

I would make you a little house as you want it with foundations of love, a simple but beautiful house, to get there you would have a well-lit dirt road, the cayenas would welcome you at the entrance, you would have many purple flowers, many fruit trees, you would have in the porch a big chair and a rocking chair for your reading evenings, or if you just want to contemplate the mountain, and next to that chair there would be one for me to keep you company, Your house would have a big window, so that you can drink coffee while you contemplate the rain, and in your cupboard there would always be sweet things that you like the most, biscuits, preserves, sweet breads, truffles, and in your counter you would have the best fruits from the countryside.

If I could give you something that would fit in one word it would be "happiness", and if I could ask you for something, one more thing out of the many you have given me, I would ask you to stay, stay with me for many more years, give me the time to make you your home, to share with you, to spend an afternoon laughing, to sleep hugging you like when I was little, to enjoy your presence, your voice, to see how you get little wrinkles, to share with you every day what happens to me, or to stay in silence and just be.

Saludos sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog, ayer estuve leyendo sobre esta iniciativa de @rafaelgreen, para escribir sobre el mejor regalo para mamá, y por supuesto me pareció un tema súper simpático, a penas termine de leer el post comencé a divagar sobre que podría darle a mi madre, ¿cuál sería para ella el mejor regalo de todos?

Qué cosas podría darle a mi madre, Que ella quiera o necesite, seguramente todo lo que le dé sería muy bien recibido, como los dibujos de palitos y las tarjetas adornada con pasta y caraotas que hacía para ella en el kínder, así como las flores, los chocolates, las tazas, y los adornitos que le hemos dado durante años, y para las cuales a veces teníamos que pedirle prestado saben para completar, o pedíamos un adelanto de la mesada de forma sospechosa. JAJA recuerdo que siempre nos prestaba, pero nos decía que no lo gastáramos en regalos para ella, y nada obedientes nos aparecíamos con un regalo, y siempre los recibía con besos, abrazos y un regañito.

Lo que más quiero para ella es la plena certeza de que cada vez que me busque me encontrara, cada vez que me llame estaré allí para ella, quiero darle todo lo que ella me dio, amor tanto amor que le cale hasta los huesos, que en cada detalle de su vida se sienta querida, y que tenga la seguridad de que siempre contara conmigo para todo lo que se presente, para luchar contra el mundo o para tomar un café. Darle apoyo, darle fuerzas y darle ánimos, darle la misma confianza que me dio, que sepa que tiene mi apoyo y mi respaldo para cualquier decisión.

Devolverle durante su vejez la infinidad de atenciones que tuvo conmigo, todas las caricias, los besos, las miradas tiernas, escucharle atentamente sus historias repetidas, de todas las remembranzas, de todas sus travesuras, de sus picardías, de sus vivencias, que jamás sienta soledad, ni en mi ausencia física, así como yo sé que siempre estoy con ella, ¿qué más puedo darte madre? Aparte de entregarte todo lo que en mi has sembrado, años de paciencia y de lucha, nunca estarás sola, sin importar lo que en el mundo ocurra.

Y si pudiese convertir todo esto que siento en algo material, te daría aquella casa entre la montaña que tanto añoras, volver a la sencillez en la que transcurrió tu infancia, llena de paz a toda hora.

 
Te haría una casita de barro como la quieres con cimientos de amor, una casa sencilla pero bonita, para llegar tendrías un camino de tierra bien alumbrado, las cayenas te recibirían en la entrada, tendrías muchas flores moradas, muchos árboles de frutas, tendrías en el porche una silla grande y una mecedora para tus tardes de lectura, o por si solo te provoca contemplar en la montaña, y al lado se esas silla habría una para mí para hacerte compañía, que tenga toda la paz que quieres, que puedas pasar días tranquilos entre tus plantas, disfrutando de tus flores , dejándote acariciar por el sol y por la brisa, Tu casa tendría una gran ventana, para que puedas tomar café mientras contemplas la lluvia, y en tu alacena siempre habrían cosas dulces de las que más te gustan, galletitas, conservas, panes dulces trufas, y en tu mesón tendrías del campo las mejores de las frutas.

Si pudiera regalarte algo que cupiese en una sola palabra seria “felicidad”, y si pudiese pedirte algo, una cosa más de lo tantas que me has dado, te pediría quédate , quédate conmigo muchos años más, dame el tiempo para hacerte tu casa, para compartir contigo, para pasar una tarde entre risas, para dormir abrazándote como cuando yo estaba chiquita, para disfrutar de tu presencia, de tu voz, para ver cómo te salen arruguitas , para compartirte a diario lo que me pasa, o para quedarnos en silencio y solo estar.
