Ser madre es una tarea a tiempo completo pues, aunque tus hijos hayan crecido, siempre tendrán tu atención para cualquier cosa que ellos necesiten de ti en un momento determinado. Ser madre es una de las tareas más bellas (yo diría que la más hermosa), que se nos haya asignado en nuestro rol de mujeres.

Soy de las que cree firmemente que, el día de la madre, es todos los días pues, en cualquier momento de tu vida, puedes agradar a tu madre con un detalle bien sea físico o emocional. Un Te Amo, un abrazo, una mirada llena de amor y si está entre tus posibilidades, un detalle físico que lleve impregnado un poco de ese gran amor que por ella sientes.

El pasado domingo 9 de mayo, se celebró en Venezuela y algunos otros países que no recuerdo en este instante, el Día de la Madre. Un día para consentir a nuestras progenitoras y hacerles saber (una vez más), cuánto y cómo las amamos. Los detalles abundan ese día. En mi caso, no fue la excepción.

Aunque como siempre he dicho en repetidas ocasiones, mi mayor regalo es mi príncipe Gabriel, saber que tengo el privilegio de ser su madre y amiga, este domingo fue de lo más especial por los detalles que tuvo mi hijo para conmigo. Mostrarme su amor a través de sus atenciones, sus gestos de afecto, pasar el día a su lado compartiendo su presencia, eso realmente, no tiene precio! Bueno si, el precio que le da ese amor genuino e incondicional que surge de la relación filial.

Sin más preámbulos les contaré, para el Challenge semanal en mi vida de mamá, como fue mi día de la madre este año, junto a @gabrielserra.

Being a mother is a full-time job because, even though your children are grown, they will always have your attention for whatever they need from you at any given moment. Being a mother is one of the most beautiful tasks (I would say the most beautiful), that we have been assigned in our role as women.

I am one of those who firmly believe that Mother's Day is every day because, at any moment of your life, you can please your mother with a physical or emotional detail. An I love you, a hug, a look full of love, and if it is within your possibilities, a physical detail that carries a bit of that great love you feel for her.

Last Sunday, May 9, Mother's Day was celebrated in Venezuela and some other countries that I can't remember at the moment. A day to pamper our mothers and let them know (once again) how much and how much we love them. Details abound on that day. In my case, it was no exception.

Although as I have always said repeatedly, my greatest gift is my Prince Gabriel, knowing that I have the privilege of being his mother and friend, this Sunday was most special because of the details my son had for me. Showing me his love through his attentions, his gestures of affection, spending the day by his side sharing his presence, is priceless! Well yes, the price that gives that genuine and unconditional love that comes from the filial relationship.
