Cada suceso en la vida de un hijo, es motivo de celebración para una madre. Ser madre es la tarea màs hermosa y a tiempo completo que puede tener una mujer.
Es una faceta de la vida que plena todo tu ser y lo hace ùtil, muy útil para el mundo pues, estás dedicando tu vida a formar otro ser que llenara al mundo con sus valores y sus logros. Por eso, cada instante es un tesoro preciado en nuestros recuerdos, sobre todo, cuando somos madres por primera vez y de paso, de un solo hijo (tal es mi caso).
En esta ocasión, me aboco a recordar el Primer Año de Gabriel, su fiesta de cumpleaños, un evento para el cual nos preparamos muy bien y en ocasiones, queriendo botar la casa por la ventana (como decimos en buen idioma venezolano).
Every event in the life of a child is a reason for a mother to celebrate. Being a mother is the most beautiful and full-time job a woman can have.
It is a facet of life that fills your whole being and makes it useful, very useful to the world because you are dedicating your life to form another being that will fill the world with its values and achievements. That is why every moment is a precious treasure in our memories, especially when we are mothers for the first time and, incidentally, of only one child (such is my case).
On this occasion, I focus on remembering Gabriel's First Year, his birthday party, an event for which we prepared very well, and, sometimes, wanting to throw the house out the window (as we say in good Venezuelan language).
El primer año de vida de nuestros hijos se celebra en grande y gracias a Dios, cuando me tocò la experiencia, estábamos aún en un tiempo accesible en cuanto a costos y economía en mi país. Sin embargo, hoy día pienso que, cualquier madre hace sacrificios porque el primer año de sus hijos sea celebrado de forma bonita, que quede en los recuerdos y nos haga dibujar en el rostro una sonrisa.
Hoy, ya a veinte años de aquel entonces, siento que la fiesta del primer año es màs para los padres que para el mismo bebè. por lo general, a un año de edad, ellos no están concientes de muchas cosas y, en el caso de Gabriel, recién salìa de una hospitalizaciòn donde estuvo en una gravedad, motivo que me hizo querer celebrar con màs grandiosidad el milagro de la vida de mi príncipe Gabriel.
The first year of life of our children is celebrated in a big way and, thank God, when I had the experience, we were still in an accessible time in terms of costs and economy in my country.
However, today I think that any mother makes sacrifices because the first year of her children is celebrated beautifully, which remains in the memories and makes us draw a smile on our faces.
Today, twenty years later, I feel that the celebration of the first birthday is more for the parents than for the baby himself. Usually, at one year of age, they are not aware of many things and, in Gabriel's case, he was just coming out of a hospitalization where he was in a serious condition, a reason that made me want to celebrate with more grandeur the miracle of my prince Gabriel's life.
Una de sus madrinas de bautizo, Marìa Cova, se encargó de todos los arreglos pertinentes. El motivo que escogimos fuè el de los 101 dàlmatas. Todo quedò hermoso, recuerdo que había muchos arreglos con los perritos blanquinegros, una preciosidad de día.
Estaba muy feliz de que mi niño se hubiera salvado después de 32 días de hospitalizaciòn luchando contra una gravedad post-quirúrgica que al final fuè vencida y le diò paso a la continuidad de la vida.
Hicimos la celebración en un local para fiestas infantiles de la ciudad. Se llamaba Arlequín. Trabajaban con ofertas de fiesta con todo, excepto los arreglos y la torta que fueron hechos y regalados por su madrina.
One of his godmothers, Marìa Cova, took care of all the arrangements. The motif we chose was the 101 Dalmatians. Everything was beautiful, I remember that there were many arrangements with the little black and white dogs, a beautiful day.I was very happy that my little boy had been saved after 32 days of hospitalization fighting against a post-surgical gravity that in the end was defeated and gave way to the continuity of life.
We celebrated a place for children's parties in the city. It was called Arlequin. They worked with party supplies with everything except the arrangements and the cake that were made and given by her godmother.
Fuè un bonito día y a pesar de que mi Gabriel aún no tenìa mucha noción de todo, de hecho, aún no caminaba para ese tiempo, lo hizo a los 15 meses de nacido por lo de su tiempo de hospitalizaciòn, siento que lo disfrutò mucho, asì como nosotros disfrutamos dar gracias a Dios por el milagro de su vida.
Ser madre es una aventura que no termina jamás. Conocer cada detalle, cada momento en la vida de ese pedacito de tì que regalaste al mundo, es lo màs hermoso en la existencia de cualquier mujer.
It was a beautiful day and even though Gabriel still didn't have much of a sense of everything he wasn't walking at that time, he did at 15 months old because of his hospitalization time, I feel that he enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed thanking God for the miracle of his life.
Being a mother is an adventure that never ends. Knowing every detail, every moment in the life of that little piece of you that you gave to the world, is the most beautiful thing in any woman's existence.

Tremenda rumba la del serito Gabriel 🤣 hasta me antoje de unas cositas que vi y esa piñata grandísima. Que bonito detalle de su madrina en regalarle la torta, voy a tener que tirarle la punta a la madrina de Joaquín.
