Continuamos con el Daily Challenge: #MomLife, Week 14 Pregnancy Edition II, voy una semana atrasada, pero todo bien no hay prisa. El primer tema de esta semana se trata de como descubrí el sexo de mi bebe, así que continúo contandoles mi historia de maternidad.

Dia #1 Revelación de género, ¿niño o niña, como te enteraste?

Esta historia es super graciosa. A los tres meses de embarazo me hice una ecosonograma y no se veía muy claramente el genero del bebe, pero el Doctor que me atendió le dijo a mi esposo que la posibilidad era que fuera varón por el tamaño del bebe y porque se veía una cosita parecida a un pene allí, pero que aún así había que confirmar más adelante el género. y mi esposo se puso super feliz.

Bueno yo no le di mucha importancia a ese doctor, entendí que aun era muy temprano para saber con seguridad el genero del bebe y me quede tranquila, pero en mi corazón yo deseaba fuertemente que fuera una niña. Aunque estaba segura de que si fuera niña o niño seria amado igual y que lo importantes es que tuviera salud y el embarazo saliera bien.

Al mes siguiente, fuimos nuevamente a el control pre-natal, como la clínica quedaba lejos de casa, en otra ciudad, nos fuimos temprano y mientras esperábamos que llegara la hora de la consulta nos metimos en una juguetería a curiosear, mi esposo estaba todo emocionado viendo juguetes de “Ben 10”, ya tenía una lista mental de todos los juguetes que le compraría a su hijo.

Llego el momento de la consulta y después de hacerme la revisión de rutina, llego el momento de buscar la confirmación del género del bebe, y después de buscar la posición correcta se vio, y la doctora dijo claramente “es una nena”. Yo no cabía de la alegría, mi esposo se quedó tieso jajaja, después que salimos de la consulta e íbamos de regreso a casa yo tenia una sonrisa de oreja a oreja que no podía disimular y el todo triste me dijo “de que te ríes” jajaja, pobrecito.

En fin, que nuestra bebita nos ha hecho muy felices, es la princesa de papá, al punto de que se unen en mi contra cuando quieren que les haga un dulce o algo para consentirlos. Pienso que no podía ser de otra manera, todo en ella ha sido perfecto y le damos gracias a Dios por eso.

Y si de tener un varoncito se trata, quizás las cosas se den y podamos ser bendecidos con un principito.

This story is super funny. When I was three months pregnant I had an ultrasound and the baby's gender was not very clear, but the doctor who attended me told my husband that the possibility was that it was a boy because of the size of the baby and because there was a little thing like a penis there, but still had to confirm the gender later. and my husband was super happy.

Well I did not give much importance to that doctor, I understood that it was still too early to know for sure the gender of the baby and I was calm, but in my heart I strongly wished it was a girl. Although I was sure that whether it was a girl or a boy it would be loved the same and that the important thing was that the baby was healthy and the pregnancy went well.

The following month, we went again to the pre-natal control, as the clinic was far from home, in another city, we went early and while waiting for the appointment time we went to a toy store to browse, my husband was all excited looking at toys of "Ben 10", he already had a mental list of all the toys he would buy for his son.

It was time for the consultation and after the routine checkup, it was time to look for confirmation of the baby's gender, and after looking for the correct position it was seen, and the doctor clearly said "it's a girl". I was overjoyed, my husband was stiff hahaha, after we left the consultation and we were going back home I had a smile from ear to ear that I could not hide and he said to me all sad "what are you laughing" hahaha, poor thing.

Anyway, our little baby has made us very happy, she is daddy's princess, to the point that they unite against me when they want me to make them a candy or something to spoil them. I think it couldn't be any other way, everything about her has been perfect and we thank God for that.

And if it is about having a little boy, maybe things will work out and we will be blessed with a little prince.
