Hola a todas las mamis de @Motherhood💕

Hello to all the moms of @Motherhood💕

Dad in delivery room / operating room? PLEASE AND OF COURSE! I totally agree that Dad is present at these important moments and that he shows us his support and love. Entering the operating room or delivery room should be an act of courage, commitment and pure love because there should be nothing more tender and beautiful than seeing your child being born, but I also understand that it can be a traumatic experience.

My first photo in this post is of moments before entering the operating room to receive Marcela, my husband was with me giving me massages, breathing with me and keeping me calm. I can't imagine that moment without him because I felt more than nervous as a new mother. The story is that outside that small waiting room was practically all my family, my in-laws, brothers-in-law, my mother and a sister. The second photo was taken by him since from the beginning I asked him to come in with me. It was funny because he always said no and shortly after I entered, my doctor came out and called him and she herself put the gown and hat on him to enter. He practically shoved him in hahaha I'll never forget his face.

Deep down he wanted to go in but he was afraid, and I only remember that he stood stiffly in the door of the operating room watching all that spectacle of my cesarean section until the doctor yelled DAD THE CAMERA and He reacted and took out his phone. He was able to record moments before Marcela came out of my belly and he was able to take several photos (which did not look good because of the light and because they were shaken) but I think that made the whole experience different. After that, he did not stop taking photos and did not detach from our side.

By the time Miranda was born the plan was the same but this time he was willing to enter so no one had to push him, the difference is that Miranda was born in a public clinic and they did not allow him to access. There were so many restrictions that my mother and he, who were waiting outside, found out minutes after the baby was born. Nobody informed them that they had happened to me or that I was already in the operating room, and worst of all, I have no memory because I had a terrible experience with anesthesia. That he was not close to me made this experience very different and the truth is sometimes I prefer not to remember those last moments before his birth.

In this clinic they almost did not allow him access, it was very bad care but the good thing is that he was with us a few moments before leaving discharge. This is his first photo with his second daughter Miranda Cecilia. He was frustrated and upset with how everything turned out because we were very excited about how things would be the same as the first time. I needed to have him close and those little things are what feed love and relationships. So when I think about this step in our lives, I imagine that it is something that we must live together, we must both share the birth of a child, whatever it may be, childbirth, cesarean section, in a public or private institution, it must be shared with dad.
