Daily Challenge: #MomLife Week 23 [ENG – ESP] || Tus hijos usan y conocen las medidas de Bioseguridad - Your children use and know the Biosafety measures

Como todas sabemos, esta pandemia llegó para cambiar al mundo y para cambiar hasta lo mas profundo de nosotros. Nos hemos tenido que adaptar y también, para mí lo mas difícil, adaptar a nuestros pequeños. O por lo menos tratar, porque al principio todos estábamos llenos de miedos, preocupaciones e incertidumbre. Tuvimos que invertir dinero en tapabocas, antibacterial, alcohol y otros productos de limpieza. Poco a poco entendimos lo que sucedía y sé, que algunos adultos aun no entienden bien lo que pasa.

As we all know, this pandemic came to change the world and to change even the deepest part of us. We have had to adapt and also, for me the most difficult thing, to adapt to our little ones. Or at least try, because at the beginning we were all full of fears, worries and uncertainty. We had to invest money in masks, antibacterial, alcohol and other cleaning products. Little by little we understood what was happening and I know that some adults still do not understand well what is happening.

Para Marcela y Miranda el uso del tapabocas al principio fue muy fácil, incluso querían usarlo en la casa y para ver televisión. Compré varios modelos así que ellas creían que era un accesorio mas, quizás algo parecido a un cintillo. Querían combinarlo con la ropa y hasta un punto era divertido. Siempre se los ponían después del baño pero hablando con ellas entendieron el uso que debíamos darle.

For Marcela and Miranda, wearing the mask at first was very easy, they even wanted to use it at home and to watch television. I bought several models so they thought it was just another accessory, maybe something like a headband. They wanted to match it with the clothes and to a point it was fun. They always put them on after bathing but talking with them they understood the use we should give them.

Para mi, la escuela tuvo un papel fundamental para que Marcela entendiera todo lo que estaba pasando. Las clases se imparten una vez al mes en grupos pequeños, en clases hablaban del virus, de las medidas de Bioseguridad, del uso correcto del tapabocas, y de lo que se podía y no hacer. También tiene actividades y proyectos relacionados con el tema, todo esto facilita que ella cumpla las medidas así que no tengo que luchar para que use el tapabocas, se lave las manos o use antibacterial.

For me, the school played a fundamental role in ensuring that Marcela understood everything that was happening. Classes are held once a month in small groups, in classes they talked about the virus, Biosafety measures, the correct use of a mask, and what could and could not be done. She also has activities and projects related to the topic, all of this makes it easier for her to comply with the measures so I don't have to fight for her to wear a mask, wash her hands or use antibacterial.

Con Miranda ha sido mas difícil porque no tiene ni idea de lo que pasa pero tiene una súper hermana mayor que la regaña cuando se baja o se quita el tapabocas y la obliga a usar en antibacterial en sus manos. Marcela es el ejemplo de la ella así que es muy sencillo, lo único que ellas no entienden es porque no podemos salir de casa. Esa es la principal manera de cuidarlas, quedándonos en casa y evitar las visitas. También mantener la casa limpia es una labor en la que ellas me ayudan a su manera.

With Miranda it has been more difficult because she has no idea what's going on but she has an older super sister who scolds her when she gets off or takes off her mask and forces her to wear antibacterial on her hands. Marcela is the example of hers so it is very simple, the only thing that they do not understand is because we cannot leave the house. That is the main way to take care of them, staying at home and avoiding visits. Also keeping the house clean is a job in which they help me in their own way.
