¡Hola papis mamis y a toda la familia!

Leyendo las preguntas de este reto, puedo darme cuenta que no estoy viviendo esto actualmente, ya mis hijos están grandes y ya pasaron por la escolaridad, pero me llevó a detenerme, pensar como fue el tiempo que viví con mis hijos respecto a la actualidad. Siempre es grato poder compartir por estos espacio y aquí dejo un resumen de nuestras vivencias. A las nuevas generaciones solo me queda sugerir que disfruten al máximo cada día...todo pasa muy rápido.

Reading the questions of this challenge, I can realize that I am not currently living this, my children are grown up and have already gone through school, but it took me to stop and think about how was the time I lived with my children compared to today. It is always a pleasure to be able to share in this space and here I leave a summary of our experiences. To the new generations I can only suggest that they enjoy every day to the fullest... everything goes by very fast

Tengo 3 hijos, unas gemelas y un varón. Mi primer parto fue gemelar, ellas fueron creciendo a la par, se ayudaban unas con otras en sus actividades y asignaturas, no tuve que mandarlas a tareas dirigidas, yo dejé mi trabajo, para dedicarme a ellos, pero emprendí varios trabajos desde mi propia casa.

Los hijas ayudaban a su hermano en sus estudios a él le costaba más, pero entre las tres estuvimos ahí para apoyarlo a él.

I have 3 children, twins and a boy. My first birth was twins, they grew up together, they helped each other in their activities and subjects, I did not have to send them to directed tasks, I left my job, to dedicate myself to them, but I undertook several jobs from my own home.

Si llegamos a tener momentos de educación en casa, porque yo les ayudaba con la tarea, no fueron nunca a tareas dirigidas, yo les explicaba en casa aquello que tanto les podía costar en las distintas materias. Disfrutábamos bastante los trabajos de manualidades y de arte plástica.

Llegaban del colegio, se bañaban, almorzaban, descansaban un rato y empezaban sus tareas en el horario que teníamos planteado, ellos intentaban solo, sino podían me pedían ayuda. Pero estábamos claros que la casa es la casa y el colegio era el colegio. Ellos sabían que debían aclarar con la maestra todas las dudas que tenían, yo no suplanté nunca a la maestra, siempre tuve mi rol de madre y de acompañante de ellos en sus estudios. Sé que en la actualidad se ha desfigurado todo, la casa ha pasado a ser la escuela y los padres los profesores. Esto no ha sido lo más sano para ningún hijo y menos para la familia perteneciente a cada hogar.

They came home from school, took a bath, had lunch, rested for a while and started their homework on the schedule we had set, they tried alone, if they couldn't, they asked me for help. But we were clear that home is home and school was school. They knew that they had to clarify with the teacher all the doubts they had, I never supplanted the teacher, I always had my role as a mother and to accompany them in their studies. I know that nowadays everything has been disfigured, the home has become the school and the parents the teachers. This has not been the healthiest thing for any child and even less so for the family belonging to each household

La asignatura que más le costaba era artística y la que tenía que ver con manualidades, les encantaba más la música, pero no por eso ello bajaban su promedio en la que le costaba, ahí estaba yo para animarlos y explicarles lo que no entendían, y si no lo sabía lo investigaba para poderles orientar. En las actividades manuales les ayudaba mucho, especialmente a Gabriel que no le llamaba la atención, pero fueron aprendiendo hacer sus manualidades solos y hasta les terminó gustando más que todo a Johana y Diliana, ya luego ellas ayudaban a su hermano mientras yo trabajaba desde casa. Así como yo les ayudaba, ellos también me ayudaban a mí.

En ese tiempo no existían las clases en línea, todas eran totalmente presencial, de hecho, se evaluaba asistencia, intervención en clase, se debía ir preparado para la siguiente clase porque muchas veces les iniciaban la clase con debates o interrogatorios. Yo les ayudaba explicándoles sobre el tema de la siguiente clase, para que no llegaran perdidos.

The subject that was more difficult for them was art and the one that had to do with crafts, they loved music more, but that did not lower their average in the one that was difficult, I was there to encourage them and explain to them what they did not understand, and if I did not know what they did not understand I would investigate it to be able to guide them. In the manual activities I helped them a lot, especially Gabriel who didn't like it, but they were learning to do their crafts on their own and even ended up liking it more than anything to Johana and Diliana, and then they helped their brother while I worked from home. At that time there were no online classes, they were all face-to-face, in fact, attendance was evaluated, intervention in class, you had to be prepared for the next class because many times they started the class with debates or interrogations. I would help them by explaining the topic of the next class, so that they would not get lost

La vacunación se la merece cualquier ser humano que tenga la edad establecida por las normativas de la salud, sin preferencia, se exige en nuestro país que todos seamos vacunados. Si se quiere en un futuro volver a las escuelas todos deberán estar vacunados para que sigan cesando el número de infectados.

En nuestro país las vacaciones eran en julio hasta primeros de octubre, y segunda quincena de diciembre hasta el 6 de enero aproximadamente. En mi casa siempre se aplicó la lógica respecto a las vacaciones y tiempo escolar. En el tiempo escolar se estudiaba y en vacaciones se descansaba.

En el tiempo escolar me aseguraba de que se fajaran a estudiar pero sobre todo que fueran aprendiendo, no que se estudiaran las cosas al caletre. En las vacaciones tenían su tiempo de descansar, ayudar con los quehaceres de la casa, tiempo de paseo o salida, tiempo para compartir con la familia y amigos.

Ya cuando faltaban 2 semanas para empezar clases, les indicaban que debían ir preparando sus cuadernos, forrarlos, realizarles la portada, entre otros. Cuando faltaba una semana si nos poníamos a practicar lo aprendido en ese año escolar que culminó para que no llegaran con las sábanas pegadas a los primeros días de clase. Porque si no se les haría difícil las materias más avanzada.

Las vacaciones, para los hijos, deben ser un tiempo de esparcimiento, descanso, ellos también se desgastan emocionalmente y en la parte de la intelectualidad, por eso es muy importante compartir como familia en las vacaciones, muchas veces ellos estaban de vacaciones pero yo no, pero siempre buscaba ese tiempo para que compartiéramos como familia. En casa pude tener por dos años un espacio para dar tareas dirigidas, era reconfortante poder tener a mis hijos cerca compartiendo con otros niños.

En las vacaciones no tuve que inscribirlos en talleres de nivelación ni de reparación, por eso siempre estuve animándolos en el tiempo de escolaridad para que pudieran disfrutar de sus vacaciones.
