El día de hoy a propósito de celebrarse en Venezuela el Día del Padre, quiero compartir con ustedes como la he pasado y cuales fueron mis obsequios. Para mí ha sido un día cargado de emociones porque mi esposa y mis hijos me han llenado de atenciones y detalles.

Today, in order to celebrate Father's Day in Venezuela, I want to share with you how I have spent it and what my gifts were. For me it has been a day full of emotions because my wife and my children have filled me with attention and details.

Mi día comenzó así, al despertar mis hijos me tenían unas hermosas tarjetas de regalo que realizaron con a la ayuda de mi esposa, ya que son muy pequeños para hacer estas manualidades. Ellos aprovecharon mientras trabajaba para hacerlas sin que yo me enterara y de verdad que me sorprendieron, porque Matthias no sabe guardar secretos, y este secreto lo guardo muy bien. Mi esposa le dijo que si me contaba algo no le hablaría más, jajajajaja; ella me cuenta que fue la única forma para que no me dijera nada y Juan Andrés aún no habla así que no me podría decir.

My day started like this, when I woke up my children had some beautiful gift cards that they made with the help of my wife, since they are too young to do these crafts. They took advantage while I was working to make them without my knowing it and they really surprised me, because Matthias doesn't know how to keep secrets, and I keep this secret very well. My wife told her that if she told me something, she wouldn't talk to her anymore, hahahaha; She tells me that it was the only way for him not to tell me anything and Juan Andrés still hasn't spoken so he couldn't tell me.

Mi hijo Matthias me explico que escogió una tarjeta de Súper Papá, porque yo soy su súper héroe favorito, les cuento que esto me hizo sentir muy feliz y hasta las lágrimas se me salieron al leer su dedicatoria, él está en proceso de lectoescritura y el hecho de que esta tarjeta sea con su letra es lo máximo para mí.

Mi hijo Juan Andrés como aún está muy pequeño, por lo que mi esposa se ideo la forma de hacer una tarjeta muy original, recorto la palabra PAPÁ y en otra cartulina marco con pintura al frio las manos de mi pequeño, este detalle me gustó mucho porque con esto demuestran lo especial que soy para ellos. En sus hermosas tarjetas se ve el tiempo y el amor que dedicaron para la realización de mis tarjetas personalizadas.

My son Juan Andrés is still very young, so my wife came up with a way to make a very original card, I cut out the word DAD and on another cardboard I frame my little one's hands with cold paint, I really liked this detail because with this they show how special I am to them. In their beautiful cards you can see the time and love that they dedicated to making my personalized cards.

Para desayunar me tenían preparada una rica sopa de costilla y chivo, con sus respectivas arepas; mi esposa sabe que este es mi desayuno preferido para los domingos. Así que me disfrute de mi sopa y luego me fui con mis hijos a visitar a mi viejo; a mi Padre que como les conté en mi presentación es el invidente y con esta pandemia no puede salir de casa. En casa de mi papá y mis hermanas almorzamos todos juntos y compartimos una tarde muy amena.

For breakfast they had prepared a rich rib and goat soup, with their respective arepas; my wife knows that this is my favorite Sunday breakfast. So I enjoyed my soup and then I went with my children to visit my old man; to my Father that, as I told you in my presentation, he is blind and with this pandemic he cannot leave home. At my dad's and my sisters' house we all had lunch together and shared a very enjoyable afternoon.

Para la cena estamos invitados a casa de mis suegros, a comer un maravilloso arroz con pollo con el cual siempre se destaca y nos consiente mi suegra Mila, como le decimos todos por cariño. Así que nos llevaremos la torta para compartir todos en familia.

For dinner we are invited to my in-laws' house, to eat a wonderful chicken rice with which my mother-in-law Mila always stands out and spoils us, as we all say to her out of love. So we will take the cake to share as a family.

Para mí ha sido un día muy especial, aunque no recibí regalos materiales todos los detalles que me dieron son lo máximo y me llenan más que cualquier otra cosa. El tiempo y los recuerdos que atesoro con mi familia no tienen precio ya que ellos son lo más importante de mi vida.

For me it has been a very special day, although I did not receive material gifts, all the details they gave me are the maximum and fill me more than anything else. The time and memories that I treasure with my family are priceless since they are the most important thing in my life.

Si tienen hijos disfruten con ellos, juega, baila, canta, cocina o realiza cualquier actividad porque eso es lo que nos llevamos cuando morimos y es por eso que siempre nos van a recordar y tener presentes con cualquier anécdota. Los hijos crecen muy rápido, sin darnos cuenta y cuando queremos disfrutar de ellos ya es tarde, recuerda que el regalo más hermoso que nos puede dar Dios es la Vida y es mejor vivirla junto a la familia.

If you have children, enjoy with them, play, dance, sing, cook or do any activity because that is what we take with us when we die and that is why they will always remember us and keep us in mind with any anecdote. Children grow very fast, without realizing it and when we want to enjoy them it is too late, remember that the most beautiful gift that God can give us is Life and it is better to live it together with the family.
