Todos somos seres creativos y tenemos la capacidad innata para hacer cualquier actividad o para resolver cualquier tipo de problema, aplicando nuestra imaginación y creatividad. Como padres debemos enfocarnos en hacer que nuestros hijos desarrollen todo su potencial creativo, motivándolos a inventar, crear e imaginar.

We are all creative beings and we have the innate ability to do any activity or to solve any kind of problem by applying our imagination and creativity. As parents we must focus on making our children develop all their creative potential, motivating them to invent, create and imagine.

Una de las actividades que más ayudan a que los niños desarrollen toda su creatividad e imaginación es el juego. Por naturaleza, a ellos les gusta jugar; disfrutan mucho de cualquier actividad lúdica que implique descubrir cosas nuevas, hacer algo que nunca antes habían hecho y esto los ayuda a que sean curiosos y, por lo tanto, creativos.

One of the activities that most help children develop their creativity and imagination is play. By nature, they like to play; they enjoy any playful activity that involves discovering new things, doing something they have never done before and this helps them to be curious and, therefore, creative.

Como madre siempre estuve motivando a mi hija a que fuera una niña creativa, a que desarrollara su imaginación a través del juego, a través de la lectura de cuentos y a través de cualquier actividad que pudiera hacer con sus manos como dibujar, colorear, armar, entre otras.

As a mother I always encouraged my daughter to be a creative child, to develop her imagination through play, through reading stories and through any activity she could do with her hands such as drawing, coloring, assembling, among others.

De aquellos días en los que pasaba horas jugando con ella han pasado muchos años ya; sin embargo, hoy, todavía lo hago con mis sobrinos y con mis sobrinietos que son niños pequeños y muy inteligentes. Por eso, siempre que me visitan, aprovecho de estimularlos a través del juego para que desarrollen sus capacidades creativas.

Many years have passed since those days when I spent hours playing with her; however, today, I still do it with my nieces and nephews and with my great-nieces and nephews who are young and very intelligent children. That is why, whenever they visit me, I take the opportunity to stimulate them through play so that they can develop their creative abilities.

Es importantísimo que en esos ratos de juegos con los niños, los guiemos a forjar su autoestima, a forjar la confianza en sí mismos para que reconozcan el valor de lo que hacen, y que si se equivocan, no pasa nada, todo se puede solucionar con su toque personal de creatividad.

It is very important that in those moments of play with children, we guide them to build their self-esteem, to forge self-confidence so that they recognize the value of what they do, and that if they make a mistake, nothing happens, everything can be solved with their personal touch of creativity.
