Daily Challenge: #MomLife Week 9 |Cómo terminó tu 2020?/ How your 2020 ended?

Hoy me sumo a la comunidad de las mamás de Hive para participar con el primer tema de los retos diarios. Este nos permite responder a la pregunta ¿Cómo terminó tu 2020?

Aunque el pasado 2020 fue un año de muchas incertidumbres, temores y ansiedades, puedo decir que al término del mismo, el balance fue positivo, sobre todo gocé de salud y así mismo, toda mi familia, lo cual agradezco profundamente; tuve muchas vivencias enriquecedoras, con nuevas personas en mi vida y con más proyectos para alcanzar.

Mi 2020 terminó rodeada de familia y con todos mis seres queridos. Agradezco que pudimos compartir nuestras mesas navideñas con toda la gastronomía tradicional de esta época y pese al virus pudimos recibir el año nuevo reunidos en un abrazo sostenido y lleno de felicidad.

Today I join the community of Hive moms to participate with the first theme of the daily challenges. It allows us to answer the question: How did your 2020 end?

lthough the past 2020 was a year of many uncertainties, fears and anxieties, I can say that at the end of it, the balance was positive, especially I enjoyed health and so did my whole family, which I am deeply grateful; I had many enriching experiences, with new people in my life and more projects to achieve.

My 2020 ended up surrounded by family and all my loved ones. I am thankful that we were able to share our Christmas tables with all the traditional gastronomy of this time and despite the virus we were able to receive the new year reunited in a sustained hug full of happiness.

La noche del 31 de diciembre preparamos todo lo que compartimos en casa de mi mamá, allí planeamos reunimos para recibir el nuevo año. Luego, cuando estuvimos listos y antes de salir, nos hicimos la sesión de fotos como acostumbramos cada año para guardarlas de recuerdos.

The night of December 31st we prepared everything we shared at my mom's house, there we planned to meet to receive the new year. Then, when we were ready and before leaving, we did the photo session as we used to do every year to keep them as memories.

Luego de entrado el año nuevo, y ya en la madrugada, fuimos a la casa de mi cuñada para darnos el abrazo y compartir con mi suegra un abrazo y recibir su bendición.

After the New Year, and already at dawn, we went to my sister-in-law's house to give each other a hug and share with my mother-in-law a hug and receive her blessing.

Allí estuvimos un largo rato compartiendo anécdotas del año que acababa de terminar, y entre chistes y risas, nos despedimos, agradeciendo por todo lo vivido y lo aprendido durante ese año tan particular que nos tocó.

We spent a long time there sharing anecdotes of the year that had just ended, and between jokes and laughter, we said goodbye, thanking for everything we had experienced and learned during that particular year.

Así terminó mi 2020, un año que jamás olvidaré.

Thus ended my 2020, a year I will never forget.
