I grew up hearing fairy tale stories, my mother, my grandmother used to talk about enchanted forest, fairy tales, and the fantasy world. My imagination was filled with unicorns and fireflies where birds can talk, sing, and a lot of butterflies flying here and there. Many people don't believe in magic, it's an illusion which just plays with the brain. It is true that there is nothing called magic because...
The real magic is inside us...
Miracles happen, the unnatural situation happens which has no explanation and that's okay. In fact, there are many things which science can't describe still, there is no explanation from science, they are mysterious. For example, "black magic" : Does it exists? I believe it does but many will not agree with me. Still, now, the ocean world is unknown to us, we don't know what is hidden in the world of the ocean because science still hasn't discovered everything. Just like we don't know what is hidden in the galaxy, is there any alien that exists or not?
Just like we don't know whether serpents, mermaids, nymphs exist or not. Mythical history has many explanations, our ancestors used to believe in the myth, superstitions, and many more. Now, I am not a knowledgeable person who can do a debate on this topic that mermaid exists or not. In my opinion, we don't know it yet because scientists don't have any answers yet...
These mythical creatures are just stories for people... Can't complain...
Many of us are familiar with an enchanted forest, a mysterious forest that always remains mysterious. Well, I learned it from stories where the magic happens, where unicorns belong with fireflies.
Now it's up to me whether I wanna believe in fairy tales, fantasy world, or not. Human psychology is different and hard to explain, you can think anything, you can imagine anything whatever you want. I always mess up my mind thinking about our existence and layers of the world, reality. When I first saw the movie inception, I was confused thinking which world I am living in, am I dreaming? Maybe I will wake up after 1000 years from a capsule and will see the exact world. Fantasy, sci-fi things are complicated and they talk about the future. Fantasy is all about illusion and sci-fi is a future hypothetical concept. That's all I can explain now.
Maybe one day I will be able to explore an enchanted forest where I will see magics, maybe one day I will see the real witch... Somehow good and bad will always exist in this world...
You can decorate your imagination world however you want, you can believe in fairies or you can believe in transformers... Up to you...

I grew up on stories of magic and fairies as well. We have a rich history of storytelling here and I loved nothing better than listening to my father telling them to us on a winter night.
I still have that fascination and love fantasy and stories. Have lots of them on my bookshelf. The world is a magical place and while it might be a different type to the stories it's real in another kind of way.
