Why self-Satisfaction is Important || Thoughts of the Day
It took me a long time to understand what is self-satisfaction. I was confused and was searching for satisfaction here and there. In fact, I have seen many people try to find satisfaction in money. Well, we all know money can't buy happiness but money can solve your issues. I saw many people love shopping, buy exclusive materials, live luxurious life and finally, I reached a conclusion for them, they find happiness in money. But is it true? On the other hand, I have seen an individual living his life with simplicity, isn't he is satisfied?
I continued my observation...
What is actually self-satisfaction? I personally think it is actually appreciating yourself and your achievements. Whatever you have learned, achieved, you are satisfied with it. Whatever you have currently, you are happy... So, now I can say that self-satisfaction varies from person to person... A person can be happy with 300$ income per month or A person is not satisfied with his 300$ income per month. So basically, it is also related to demands and personal satisfaction. Some can spend their entire life living in a cottage, on the other hand, some will never be happy living in a mansion, they desire a palace... Their desires never end, they are not happy what they have and always want more...
Personally I think they are not grateful for what they have and because of their high expectations, frustrations they never become satisfied... They just want more and more... I think greed is also related with them...
How I have realized this entire self-satisfaction term?
Let me tell you one thing, it was not so easy. Because my demands were high and still high, but I learned how to be satisfied with whatever I have. That's the most important part, I chase my dreams, I have ambition and because of that many times in life, I felt frustrated, worthless. I was focused on what others are doing instead of focusing on what I have, what I am doing. I focused on my weaknesses and became overwhelmed a lot of time, I felt worst because of my failures and forgot to see what I can do. My life journey is complicated and let me tell you, every single day I fight with the world for my own survival. But I am satisfied with what I have that's why I still have hope to chase my dreams. I keep myself telling me that I can do this because I came so far and nothing can judge me who am I unless I start judging myself...
Whatever I have done for myself, I am happy and satisfied, whatever I am now I am happy and I just want to improve/ develop myself. I wanna explore, I wanna learn and this entire concept gives me the pleasure of self-satisfaction.
Many people relate self-satisfaction with success, I don't deny that relation. Obviously, when you are successful you are satisfied with yourself. But what if you are not successful? What if you can't achieve your desire goal? You don't deserve self-satisfaction??
Basically, self-satisfaction should be the ultimate goal instead of success, because if you are not satisfied with yourself, how you can be successful??

You should think about it...
This is your life and it's up to you how you wanna see yourself after 10 years. If you are satisfied with yourself than you will see how easy it is for you to solve any situation and go towards success... Don't chase success, success will chase you one day, you just need to keep faith onto yourself and be satisfied and grateful whatever you have...
Your situation might get worst tomorrow, there is no guarantee for tomorrow, anything can happen so be happy whatever you have right now...
Don't make your life complicated, the more you will make your life complicated, the more you will be confused and unsatisfied...
The choice is yours...

I didnt use to have enough belief in myself growing up, I was that kid at the corner of the class who wished to not be seen by anyone. Im much better now, but there's still a lot of work to be done. Works in progress

I think everybody has some kind of hard feelings as you have. I was a backbencher and I used to love to be a back-bencher...I fall behind many times, I cried but eventually, I felt my sadness doesn't make any sense. I have spent many phases of life, so I know the feelings of pain and how much it is important to do something for ourselves...

Many things can be said about this topic, but to summarize it, for me self-satisfaction is when at the end of the day, and look around and see how much you did and how much you helped another to improve their quality of life
