How many of us actually follow our Passion !!!

My native cultural background in society is completely different from my current status. Many people asked me so many questions related to religious and societal norms and my answer is always constant. I am a human, that is my designation, my first identity. I am not an atheist neither I am a religious person, but I maintain minimum social religious laws just because of blood. From our childhood, our parents teach us basic lessons and they stay with us forever. I am such a type of personality who doesn't forget the origin. I guess my ancestors are not so happy with me but they can't deny me. Lol...

I used to be a singer, can you believe that? I can't believe in myself how you can believe right? Yes, I used to sing and was a singer of classical music, I went to music school and was involved with the music for 8 years I guess when I was a kid. When I became a teenager, I left the music world for some reason and still I guess my dad has some pictures of those moments when I used to sing. But somehow because of some incidents I lost my voice and now I can't sing anymore.

Fortunately, I haven't forgotten how to draw and sewing skills, they are still with me though I don't have time for needlework. I don't pay attention to many things and don't get time to practice the skills I have already.

I believe every person has some unique skills which make them different from others. Those who think differently, we and society can't accept them so easily. If a boy loves to dance and want to become a professional dancer, the family won't accept it because they believe dancers don't have any future, and later they just leave their passion and lock inside forever. Honestly speaking I have seen many creative people in life who accepted the reality of profession because of responsibilities and financial issues. One of my friends wanted to become a musician and he wanted to do study music but because of family, she became a doctor, the worst doctor ever. I mean medical was never her passion but she accepted it for family and still not happy though she is continuing and doing great at her profession. She still says that I wanted to be a musician but...

I know every day many people kill their likes, hobbies, or creative works because of the future. Money talks, so you choose that profession which will give you money and respect. The entire world is changed a lot, if I look at the past 20 years, I can see the changes. Now, people are more passionate and happy about what they are doing for themselves.

Though still, my dad says, I wanted to see you as a doctor or wanted to see you working in an IT company. LOL... He will never understand me...

Anyway, this is a weird post but I hope you will get at least one sentence to relate with yourself... :P
