A story of a cup of coffee and the rain...
I am not a fan of rainy days but I like to watch the rain. It's impossible to understand when it gonna be rain in Kharkiv. For example, you go out seeing the shiny day but later after 1 hour suddenly you will see the cloudy sky and then rain will start for no reason. Because of the rain, Ukraine has fertile soil and may be known as an agricultural country too in Eastern Europe. It doesn't matter whether it is shiny or snowy weather, rain happens here for no reason.
Yesterday was one of the busiest days of the entire week. I had to finish so many works in time which can't be done on the weekend besides I had to finish them before Monday. Not only I have been working on my passport reissue documents but also I had to finish some undone work with immigration. One of my friends needed help regarding permanent residence in Ukraine so I am helping him out. So, I left home early in the morning and was not prepared for the rainy day.
After finishing my lunch I went to the pet store to buy food for my dog Gigi and after leaving the store, I noticed the cloudy sky. I wanted to go home quickly but it was too late and I couldn't make it in time. On my way home, suddenly heavy rain started and I had to find a shady space for myself. After all, I never wanted to get wet and become sick...
I took shelter in a coffee shop, ordered a cup of Cappucino, and has started enjoying the rain. Normally, I don't find any time to watch the rain but yesterday it was different and the weather was demanding a cup of coffee and my attention. I smiled thinking that Ukrainian weather is like a girl's mood, it's moody and swings suddenly. The sound of the rain was something that refreshed my mind and for a while, I decided to forget all the stress and wanted to enjoy the rainfall only.
I realized how suddenly my life has changed and became busy, I used to watch rain all the time and used to pray that when it gonna be raining so that I don't need to go to school. Those were childhood memories when I used to play in the rain and get wet. Now, my adulthood put me into a dilemma whether I should enjoy the freshness of the rain or not. I was feeling nostalgic thinking about my childhood memories of rain...
Suddenly from nowhere this girl came and started enjoying the weather. She was holding so many packets of goodies but instead of caring about damage and sickness, she was enjoying the rainfall. I was watching her and was thinking whether I should try it or not. But my brain said, "no, you don't wanna invite fever"...
My offline life is robotic and monotonous; my works, stress had turned me into something else and I felt that somehow I forgot how it feels to get wet in the rain... Life changes and because of maturity, sometimes we don't dare to take challenges of childhood memories...
So, the childhood memories stay in memories only...
