The Falling Star

Generally speaking that passed a lot of time since last time was out to shoot start (well, if not to count the quest to catch the NEOWISE comet couple weeks ago, but that was a bit different still).
Yesterday was just a perfect warm and calm evening with completely clear skies, also Friday, which important too, to have possibility to sleep longer in the morning then. Decision was simple - to drive to same usual place near remain of old pier at Sventoji, Lithuania. The place is not too much dark, but far from bigger Klaipeda and Palanga cities.

And everything was just fine, except almost full moon which risen just at the moment it got dark enough to actually shoot the stars. Oh well, that's could be predicted, but nothing can be changed
Other thing, the Milky Way was straight to the South to the direction of Palanga City and only some 45 degrees from rising moon. As result, Milky Way was completely invisible just by human eye, but i perfectly know that camera sensors are much better in this respect.
The positive effect of the shining moon was still lightening pretty well the wooden structures of the old pier, so it was not necessary to use a small lighter to get out some details.

Finally I was lucky enough to catch "the falling start" into the frame too :)
