Technical inspection of cars in Slovakia.

The topic of technical inspection of the car for Ukraine is now also relevant. This process was cancelled in the past. Now they want to introduce again. It was a completely corrupt scheme. I think this will be rebornin corruption again ))

In Slovakia, the technical inspection is called STK. New cars from a factory have it for 4 years. Then every two years the STK should be repeated.

STK consists of two parts: checking the engine for exhaust and monitoring the car itself. That is, check everything completely. Engine, lights, seat belts, brakes and everything else. They even check if the windows work. The inspection takes place on special equipment.

It costs 70 € for a car. But it's nuances. You can not immediately pass.

For example, my case.
I passed the engine control from the first time. And received a special sticker for two years. And I did not pass control of the car itself. It had remarks on the lights and steering. So I got a sticker for two months. As well as a document with an expert assessment. The service made repairs and passed once again STK. I paid an additional 26 euros. And I got second sticker on my car ))

Such control is carried out by licensed firms. Nobody demanded money from me. There is no corruption here. On the contrary. I was forgiven for some small "mistakes".

In my opinion, a similar system should be introduced in all countries.
