Every day when I wake up, I go across the patio towards my parents’ room and say hello to the sky, the beautiful blue sky that delights and awakes my eyes each morning, the blue that wraps me in the afternoons I dedicate to study the fluffy clouds’ shapes to paint them later. The blue that, at the moment of leaving, turns into a beautiful smokey violet indicating the shinny, tiny stars’ arriving, and increasing my love for the great sky. Some pinkish clouds join the smokey violet in their act to say goodbye to the big possessive sun; that yellow sun that warms my cheeks until he completely hides away.

Todos días cuando me levanto, cruzo el patio hacia el cuarto de mis padres y le doy los Buenos días al cielo, el hermoso cielo azul que deleita y despabila mis ojos cada mañana, el azul que me envuelve en las tardes que dedico a estudiar las formas de las esponjosas nubes para luego pintarlas. El azul que al momento de irse se convierte en un violeta ahumado, indicando la llegada de las pequeñas y brillantes estrellas e incrementando mi amor por el gran cielo. Algunas nubes rosáceas acompañan al violeta ahumado en su despida al grande y posesivo sol; ese amarillo sol que entibia mis mejillas hasta que se esconde completamente.
