Comic Book Speculation

As luck would have it, we have another week of titles out to read in respect to comic books. Oh, and the possibility to flip a few books this week if you are into that sort of thing. I know, it's not as sexy as Leofinance, but there are a few dollars to be made here and there if you'd like to pursue that route. So, let's not waste any time; it's an easy week:

This seems to be the one winner this week; this Stepanie Hans 1:25 ratio is getting multiple sales on eBay for $50 USD. It's a beautiful piece of art and I will definitely be getting this one for the Hattie Collection.

The other big winner this week is this Bermejo 1:25 Marvel 6. It's going to be a must for Silver Surfer and Bermejo fans. If you are luckey enough to see this for cover price (let's call it $25 USD), you could sell it today on eBay for at least $125 USD. I like Bermejo's stuff quite a bit, but I wouldn't pull the trigger on this one for +$100 USD.

That's about it for this week. It's quiet (almost too quiet)...but hey, it's down weeks like that let me target older books I want to get for the Hattie Collection. So I can't complain too much.

Thanks as always for stopping by and checking out this week's speculative picks.

I'm having a hard time buying Marvel anymore; The Immortal Hulk has lost it's lustre (though I'm always happy to see Alpha Flight doing something fun) and I've gotten really weary of the multiple covers and un-ending storylines. I understand the business of it all, but I've found myself completely glossing over the entire half of the comic book store that is devoted to Marvel or DC.

I'm going to need to trust you to let me know if there's something good there I should pay attention to. 😀

I'm there with you on the Marvel stuff; and DC...I want to like it, but have had a difficult time of late. All the good stuff is in the so-called indie prints, no doubt.

Ha, we'll I'll do my best to point out stuff I'm going to read going forward. Comics are sort of a mixed bag right; I try to get stuff that might have value long term for my daughter, and then pick up books that look like a good read. It's almost a full time job??
