I've been drawing those crude squarish chairs ever since the very first strip, so the time for a change was long overdue. Yet I didn't think it would be very realistic for Dan's house to have the new chairs. Why? Because in my mind, those uncomfortable squarish chairs are probably part of some terribly overpriced dining room set that the wife picked. Are we supposed to believe she would let her husband Dan spend money to replace the chairs SHE picked?
Sure. Next thing you'll tell me is that unicorns are real, and they grant wishes while farting out rainbows... 😉
