Blogging CHALLENGE "Frase Favorita" (ENG-ESP)

We all have a phrase in life that identifies us and that often serves us as inspiration and support in difficult times. In the same way we can take a phrase as personal protection and we have so much faith in it that we make it part of our being and we lean on it in moments of fear or anguish.

Todos tenemos en la vida una frase que nos identifica y que muchas veces nos sirve de inspiración y de soporte en los momentos difíciles. De igual manera podemos tomar una frase como protección personal y le tenemos tanta fe que la hacemos parte de nuestro ser y nos apoyamos en ella en momentos de miedo o angustia.

Particularly there are 2 phrases that I have engraved in my mind and which are within my plans to tattoo them on my skin. The first one is "GOD BLESS YOU", since I can remember and being raised by my paternal grandparents this phrase was heard daily in my childhood and in my adult life, I am a faithful believer that this has created in me a kind of protective shield before dangerous situations. My grandfather used to say it every time I got up from sleep, when I went to bed and when I came home from school.

Particularmente hay 2 frases que tengo grabadas en mi mente y las cuales están dentro de mis planes tatuármelas en la piel. La primera es “DIOS TE BENDIGA”, desde que tengo uso de razón y al ser criada por mis abuelos paternos está frase la escuchaba a diario en mi infancia y en mi vida adulta, soy fiel creyente que eso ha creado en mi una especie de escudo protector antes situaciones de peligro. Mi abuelo tenía por costumbre decirla cada vez que me levantaba de dormir , al acostarme y cuando llegaba del colegio.

Likewise, as I grew up and moved in with my husband, every time I went to my grandparents' house, the custom of asking for a blessing as many times as I came and went was maintained. On one occasion I told my grandfather that he and my grandmother had blessed me (the custom was also with my paternal aunts) that this had served me well when I went through dangerous experiences from which I came out safely and without compromising my integrity because their blessings protected me from danger.

De igual manera mientras crecí y me mudé con mi esposo cada vez que iba a casa de mis abuelos se mantenía la costumbre de pedir la bendición tantas veces como eran mis entradas y salidas. En cierta oportunidad le dije a mi abuelo que me había bendecido tanto el y mi abuela ( la costumbre también fue con mis tías paternas) que eso me había servido cuando pasaba por experiencias peligrosas de las cuales salía airosamente y sin comprometer mi integridad porque sus bendiciones me protegían de los peligros.

My other favorite phrase is "NEVER GIVE UP". That phrase was so motivating for me that one moment in my life when I fell into a deep depression due to grief, my son Guillermo asked me through those 3 words not to give up. Literally that phrase lifted me from a deep hole where I was submerged and pushed me to the surface to continue with my life and look for new reasons to be happy. Sometimes when I feel some difficulty that may shake me emotionally, that magical phrase NEVER GIVE UP comes back to flow, I made it part of me, it is like a talisman of strength and power to fight everything... I have forbidden to give up is a promise I made to myself.

Mi otra frase favorita es “ NUNCA TE RINDAS”. Esa frase fue tan motivadora para mí que un momento de mi vida en donde caí en una profunda depresión por duelo, mi hijo Guillermo me pidió a través de esas 3 palabras que no me rindiera. Literalmente esa frase me elevó desde un hueco profundo donde me encontraba sumergida y me impulso hacia la superficie para continuar con mi vida y buscar nuevas razones para ser feliz. En ocasiones cuando puedo sentir alguna dificultad que pueda tambalearme emocionalmente vuelve a fluir esa mágica frase de NUNCA TE RINDAS, la hice parte de mi, es como un talismán de fuerza y poder para combatir todo…Yo tengo prohibido rendirme es una promesa que hice conmigo misma.
Make your own a phrase with which you identify yourself and mentally give it magic and you will feel its power, because the word together with the thoughts when invoked for your own well-being has an incredible power, use it and you will be surprised what you can achieve with something so simple but so magica.

Haz tuya una frase con la te identifiques y mentalmente otórgale magia y sentirás su poder , porque la palabra junto con los pensamientos cuando se invocan para bienestar propio tiene un poder increíble, úsalo y te sorprenderás lo que puedes lograr con algo tan sencillo pero tan mágico.
