[ESP/ENG] DUMBEST THING DONE FOR LOVE || LA COSA MÁS TONTA HECHA POR AMOR

El amor es un sentimiento mágico que desconecta tu pensamiento de tu cerebro y lo conecta con el corazón. Les doy la bienvenida a mi día 1 de @tripode conjunto de preguntas.

Before now, it has really been a while that I opened my heart to love. So my dumbest thing done for love goes back way in high school. The truth is, I don't really consider it a dumb thing because it's something I would do over and over again.

Antes, ha pasado mucho tiempo que abrí mi corazón al amor. Así que mi cosa más tonta hecha por amor se remonta a la secundaria. La verdad es que no lo considero una tontería porque es algo que haría una y otra vez.

There used to be a girl back then that I liked, we never dated but were close friends. A particular day, she didn't come to school which I don't know why she didn't and my plans were to go see her immediately after school. Funny enough that day we the students were not allowed to quickly leave the school and were given punishment over something I can't remember we did.

Solía haber una chica en ese entonces que me gustaba, nunca salimos, pero éramos amigos íntimos. Un día en particular, ella no vino a la escuela que no sé por qué no lo hizo y mis planes eran ir a verla inmediatamente después de la escuela. Lo suficientemente gracioso ese día no se nos permitió a los estudiantes salir rápidamente de la escuela y se les dio castigo por algo que no puedo recordar que hicimos.

The road to my house and hers are like two opposite roads and very distant from each other. It would take like over an hour from her side to my side on vehicle and I don't want to get home late at the same time I wanted to see how she's doing.

El camino a mi casa y la de ella son como dos caminos opuestos y muy distantes el uno del otro. Tardaría más de una hora de su lado a mi lado en el vehículo y no quiero llegar tarde a casa al mismo tiempo que quería ver cómo está.

I didn't want to stay back in school serving punishments given by the teachers because my thoughts were on how to get to her house early enough to know her health condition and then go to my house. Then I was left with no choice to jump my school fence.

No quería quedarme en la escuela sirviendo castigos dados por los maestros porque mis pensamientos estaban sobre cómo llegar a su casa lo suficientemente temprano como para conocer su estado de salud y luego ir a mi casa. Entonces me quedé sin opción de saltar mi cerca de la escuela.

The fence was not a short fence but a tall one. It was not an easy jump for me as I am not a tall person either. The only advantage I got was because I could easily carry myself due to the exercises I performed frequently. My landing from the fence was quite bad but that wasn't my thought, I really didn't feel anything but only the feeling to see her before getting home.

La valla no era una valla corta, sino una alta. No fue un salto fácil para mí, ya que tampoco soy una persona alta. La única ventaja que obtuve fue porque podía llevarme fácilmente debido a los ejercicios que realizaba con frecuencia. Mi aterrizaje desde la cerca fue bastante malo, pero eso no fue mi pensamiento, realmente no sentí nada, pero sólo la sensación de verla antes de llegar a casa.

Moreover, I was lucky not to be caught jumping the fence because it would have spoilt my reputation in that school. I would not have become the Head prefect (i.e school president) later in future if I was caught.

Además, tuve la suerte de no ser atrapado saltando la valla porque habría arruinado mi reputación en esa escuela. No me habría convertido en el prefecto jefe (es decir, presidente de la escuela) más tarde en el futuro si me hubieran atrapado.

Anyways, I was able to see her including her parents. Surprisingly, they weren't strict that a boy came to their house to check over their daughter. I was happy to see that she was okay and didn't come to school because she felt she was already late and had plans to do some stuffs at home.

De todos modos, pude verla incluyendo a sus padres. Sorprendentemente, no eran estrictos que un niño viniera a su casa a revisar a su hija. Me alegró ver que estaba bien y no vino a la escuela porque sentía que ya era tarde y tenía planes de hacer algunas cosas en casa.

Then I thought, if I was caught jumping the school fence. I would receive severe punishment for that act. As a Nigerian, the punishment I would receive both from home and school would be beyond my imagination. The truth is, that was the first time I jumped the school fence but it was never the last 😅😂.

Entonces pensé, si me atrapan saltando la cerca de la escuela. Recibiría un castigo severo por ese acto. Como nigeriano, el castigo que recibiría tanto de casa como de la escuela estaría más allá de mi imaginación. La verdad es que fue la primera vez que salté la valla de la escuela pero nunca fue la última 😅😂.
