[ENG-ESP] Career Change | Blogging Challenge Part 05

Have you ever started a job but down the line, you desire to change and work another kind of job? The blogging question says - If you had the chance of a career change, what would it be and why?

Well, I love my career and I'm enjoying it but sometimes I daydream about what it would look like to be a fashion designer!

Growing up, my parents talked to a family friend who was a tailor to allow me to train with her during the summer holiday. I was super excited because it was what I'd always wanted to do. After my school lessons in the morning, I would eat lunch and head over to her shop. She had other trainees with her but I was given special treatment.

I started learning little things like sewing buttons on clothes, mending tears, etc.

Then one day, she informed me she was moving from our residential neighbourhood and that was the end of it. I was sad, like the universe was against my desire.

So if I had a chance of a career change, I would go for fashion designing. This is one of the reasons I love to read fashion magazines and I have subscribed to some e-magazines as well. I love to see people dress up in different styles and I try to stay updated on the latest fashion trends.

I admire popular fashion designers like Tomo Koizumi, Donatella Versace, Giorgio Armani, Kerry Pieri etc. Their work is quite spectacular and distinguished. I understand why their clothings are pricey because they use the best materials and also the styles are one of a kind.

I would focus particularly on sewing corporate clothes. This is my usual dressing in my line of work.

I fancy skirt suits of different designs because they make ladies look smart and beautiful just as a man would look smart and handsome dressed in a well tailored three-piece suit.

I am not sure I can still make the career change now or later on but I will not rule it out. Anything is possible to him or her that believes!

¿Alguna vez ha comenzado un trabajo pero en el futuro desea cambiar y trabajar en otro tipo de trabajo? La pregunta de los blogs dice: Si tuvieras la oportunidad de un cambio de carrera, ¿cuál sería y por qué?

Bueno, amo mi carrera y la estoy disfrutando, pero a veces sueño despierto con lo que sería ser diseñadora de moda.

Al crecer, mis padres hablaron con una amiga de la familia que era sastre para que me permitiera entrenar con ella durante las vacaciones de verano. Estaba súper emocionado porque era lo que siempre había querido hacer. Después de mis lecciones escolares por la mañana, almorzaba y me dirigía a su tienda. Tenía otros aprendices con ella, pero a mí me dieron un trato especial.

Empecé a aprender cosas pequeñas como coser botones en la ropa, remendar lágrimas, etc.

Entonces, un día, ella me informó que se mudaba de nuestro vecindario residencial y eso fue todo. Estaba triste, como si el universo estuviera en contra de mi deseo.

Entonces, si tuviera la oportunidad de cambiar de carrera, optaría por el diseño de moda. Esta es una de las razones por las que me encanta leer revistas de moda y también me he suscrito a algunas revistas electrónicas. Me encanta ver a la gente vestirse con diferentes estilos y trato de mantenerme actualizado sobre las últimas tendencias de la moda.

Admiro a diseñadores de moda populares como Tomo Koizumi, Donatella Versace, Giorgio Armani, Kerry Pieri etc. Su trabajo es bastante espectacular y distinguido. Entiendo por qué sus ropas son caras porque usan los mejores materiales y también los estilos son únicos.

Me enfocaría particularmente en coser ropa corporativa. Este es mi vestuario habitual en mi línea de trabajo.

Me gustan los trajes de falda de diferentes diseños porque hacen que las mujeres se vean elegantes y hermosas, así como un hombre se vería elegante y guapo vestido con un traje de tres piezas bien hecho.

No estoy seguro de poder hacer el cambio de carrera ahora o más adelante, pero no lo descartaré. ¡Todo es posible para el que cree!
